morning all
good luck with the bungee Shelly
fantastic teds chalky:T
spent yesterday blitzing the airing cupboard managed to corvert some more old dark sheets into puffing bags - quite why i had a black sheet in there is anyones guess. Its our 25th wedding anniversary this year and i found a burgundy duvet and sheet set that was a present, its definately seen better days so that is also destined to become puffing bags. found some bright duvets that could be suitable for tragic teddy bags just got to nip on lh to remind myself of the sizes. managed a couple of boobs as well.
Today is youngest DS 9th birthday-hes got a friend for tea then the school easter disco so not really planning to abandon him for my knitting tonight as hell be getting lots of birthday fuss so wont get any knittingdone tonight

Hi
Looks to me like:
Row 1 is all knit
Row 2 is all purl
Row 3 is all knit
then next rows will be in same sequence,
so
Row 4 knit
Row 5 purl
Row 6 knit
next row knit
next row purl
next row knit
so effectively you have 2 knit rows then one purl row, then 2 knit rows again
Hope this helps, and best of luck!

Hi Everyone
Missed a night and it seems like a long time - just catching up. It will take Kathy ages when they finally hook her up!
Shelley, didn't realise it was tonight - hope it goes well.
Sounds like your son's school have dealt with the situation really well loopylisa, but it's always a worry isn't it.
Mrs MP I can't believe how much you get done - I bet you even do ironing too!
Hope your voice returns soon Lucie - my DH prays for mine to disappear!
Haven't the Spanish branch done well! Company for my tragic ted (recovering) when he finally gets sent to LH.
I have just bought a crochet book too (sorry, can't remember who posted that - memory fade) because the UK/US terminology has caused me some confusion which is easily done!
*In a quiet voice* I have just bought some more (yes) yarn - it's sirdar crofter (which was from local haberdashery which has just started selling knitting stuff) and it apparently knits up like you've been very clever and done proper fair isle! Have bought a sock pattern to go with it as fancied giving dpns a whirl but the pattern is for socks on 2 needles so will give that a go even though we are fast getting to no-sock-season!
Hope everyone is feeling better who wasn't and is looking forward to the Easter "break".0 -
Shelley - how did it go??????????
k2tog - know what you mean I am addicted to buying wool:rolleyes:
I have been very lucky though, a friend gave me a huge bag of wool a few weeks ago, not started on it yet, and my sister gave me 8 balls of Rowan, havent started on that either:o
I havent got a pattern for Rowan wool I will have to go look round at the sites and see whats on there
OH has gone off to his snooker and the sofa is calling me, so away I go to pick up my knitting
enjoy the rest of the evening everyone
Anne
