Evening all, I hope everyone is feeling OK – HUGS to those who need one.
I’ve been feeling a bit antisocial this last couple of days and had pulled up the drawbridge and been in lurking mode.
I will confess that the H****work I planned didn’t get done, but neither did I knit much just a boobie and a couple of hats.I dozed a lot so I think I have been overtired. I’ve been reading today which generally helps lift me a bit Twilight by Stephanie Meyer, enjoying it so far.
However, I’m back now ……………
Its been a bit quiet on here - I think we all miss Mioliere and Maytaurus both for their inspiration and good spirits.
Shezmit – what time do you BUNGEE tomorrow?
Shazrobo, nice to hear from you, Mum is fine – still knitting but her latest trick is deciding things aren’t straight then starting to undo them - that’s when we get rats nests – today’s had 3 separate “balls” with the nest tangled round her knitting bag!!!! I untied it while Mum ate a “winter spice muffin” ( from Morrisons they’re ace).
If I knit some teddies will you sew them for me?? ( :rotfl:) I’ll buy you a glass of cider of you do!
Loopylisa – How did the new job go?
Crumblepie - HATS – I love them – I play with the patterns if I get bored but I’ve got one which is becoming obsessive, I can do it without thinking now which is great.
Chalky – WOW – incredible sight – all those Teds – absolutely marvellous. What a great bunch of supporters you’ve found.
TightAs hope the voice is found soon. Its good it doesn’t stop you knitting though.
Roamin – Jean, yes I’m playing with ideas for the “interwoven” blanket. Trying to work out how to minimize the curl you get from knitting without it being all garter stitch.
Do you think Mioliere will accept your notice as PA. I doubt it – let me know if she offers you a pay rise!
There now – that’s 1 wee whisky down the hatch - time to pour another,
luv

New job went fine for half the day then I had a call from the school that my youngest son had hit someone so had to go and sort it all out. They were fine though as they all have children and know what it's like. My son had exploded after being teased to death  and the school were great - they have spoken to the other boy and his Mum already and have more names of the little gang of horrors as well.
Good luck with your bungee jump Shelley :T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:money::money::money:Charity stuff - 3 buntings, 1 angel pocket, 2 mini teds, 2 baby hats, 2 squares, 3 smoothie hats, 3 sleeping bags, 1 aaron square, 4 boobs:D
