Does anyone know who carries BT Mobile traffic?. I believe it used to be O2 but they changed some time ago.

    It was O2 then T-mobile now Vodafone. But I don't know if old contracts have been transferred or are still on the network they started with. Maybe if you do a network search you can eliminate the others

    When I got my contract in Nov 2004, it was using T-Mobile. When I upgraded my phone in Nov 2005, they sent me a new SIM which uses Vodafone.
