Hi
Out of curosity, which company will perform well in 2009 and offer high dividend for share holder. I am interested to put my money in stock market in a long term in order to obtain high dividend. Know best one?

What they mean is no one knows this for sure. Put it this way, 12 months ago the bank shares looked to have a good yield and reasonable security
You might want to consider utilities, average yield 5% it looks like0 -

Just the yield on a ftse tracker would be 4% ?

Not sure if that is including the yield on banks which would then be incorrect0 -

Shell are paying 6.6% and I believe they have never cut their dividend ( around 8% a few weeks ago).'Just think for a moment what a prospect that is. A single market without barriers visible or invisible giving you direct and unhindered access to the purchasing power of over 300 million of the worlds wealthiest and most prosperous people' Margaret Thatcher0
