o2 international caller bolt on rip off

I changed my o2 PAYG to the call 500 tariff, but they made a mistake and wiped all my treats etc off my phone. I realised they hadn't put the international call option back on for the 10p texts abroad.

Phoned them up. They can't put it back, it no longer exists, it is now called something else, and you have to re buy it. From what I can see it is the same, but with a different name, but I have to rebuy it at £4.99

I told the bloke it was a rip off, and all he would say is "it's not a rip off, it's a different bolt on"

so whats the difference? i asked.....he didn't know.

was going to email a complaint, but they have removed all the email addresses from their website.

Don't want to pay 10p a minute to ring and complain !

redux

I just connected a new SIM the other day, then applied to change the number. This meant that the int'l option and the balance disappeared, but they were reapplied when I asked.

So I'm sure you can get this corrected. Maybe there was a confusion between this and the Euro bolt-on, or the old int'l bolt-on (or is that what you had? - the new one is better)
