I have a Nokia 3330 which has served me well, but it getting old now. It is on a payg contract, but i pay by dd at the end of the month for what i have used. I think it is called virgin open access. I end up paying about £12 a month on average. Are there any better deals on a contract or payg that anyone knows of?

Try the cheap deals section on https://www.contractdeals.com when you find one, clear your cookies, get an account at quidco or topcashback and purchase the phone or contract.
Avoid 18 month contracts or cashbacks from small companies. CPW owns OnestopPhoneshop and E2Save.
There are PAYG deals on an unlocked motarola for £14.99 includes £4.99 worth of airtime from CPW and there is a Easymobile sim for £10 with £10 cash back via quidco and £20 airtime see posts on this forum.Seth.0 -

Orange currently, on payg, for £15 a month give you 3000 free evening/weekend txt`s which is a pretty good deal. Alternatively for £15 a month you could get 02 contract sim only which gives you 100 or 200 any network any time minutes with 500 free txts.
Phone wise, you can get a phone with either deal, but will cost you extra. You need to weigh up is it worth paying 5quid extra a month for a new shiny decent phone from the provider or buying a sim free phone from ebay or somewhere.0
