    Im sure my husband has secured the wireless signal so that no one can else can use it. I will try to phone sky just now, but, not sure if they will be open.

    Get you OH to check the router for any other access just in case (They CAN be hacked by those in the know)
    Switch off ALL other computers and the PS3 and try it by itself (The SPEEDTEST too). If it still fails id be looking at updating FLASH and JAVA

    YouTube has been playing up with us yesterday too. Before it was fine. It's the same on both the desktop and laptop. Everything else seems to be loading as normal - it's just Youtube.

    No point ringing Sky until you know that your own house is in order! Where is the router plugged in? Try moving the router to the master test socket and check the router stats (as requested in post #11) and do another speed test e.g. here and post the link to your result.

    hi there,

    I phoned sky yesterday, and they checked the speed and they also agreed that it was slow. They transferred me to another department, but, I was hanging on for 45 mins, so, I hung up. Will call them back tomorrow.
