Late addition after my update today: a £5 Amazon voucher from lightspeed, hurray.2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Well done, everyone! No matter how much or how little (in my case) we made extra, the main thing to remember is that it IS extra. I hope you have all been spending it or saving it wisely. Mine has all gone on the longterm frugalisation of my new (rented) house & garden
I've just checked my TCB account and there's a notice on it that A$da has agreed to pay the cashback or woprds to that effect, so it shouldn't be long now before we are able to get at that lovely £68. It'll be a good start to my next attempt at 'hitting the grand'. In actual fact, I'll be pleased to just neutralise all my non-household budget expenses and replace any savings I need to spend.I guess it's also time to start looking at filling the new ISA.
I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Can I rename the next challenge so I don't look so bad? How about £100 in 100 days? £500 in 100 days? :rotfl:I'm trying to think of what else I can possibly do to scrape a few extra pounds together in the next challenge and it's almost impossible without winning any of it - are there any fees to pay if I did 99p listings on eBay and then the items didn't sell?I reserve the right not to spend.

Ohhhhh I vote £100 in 100 days - I've only just broken through the £100 barrier this time - £103.05 to be precise!:rotfl:
To be fair I'm
a) not counting money I don't spend in the month. (I'm carrying it forwards fir the rest of the year in the 4k challenge)
b) only counting vouchers I've received when I use them up. (It got too confusing transferring the money as they arrived last time in this challenge)
c) not including any interest earned. (which I did last time)
d) scared of ebay!Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!

Just broke through the £600 mark to £617.21 :j
Now, if I could just find another £382.79 within the next 48 hours or so. :rotfl:
I'm not doing too badly but it's still over £400 short of neutralising all my spends to date. I'll just keep carrying them over, though, as I need to make it a cash neutral year for my 'everything else' budget. I wonder if anyone wants to buy some lettuce leaves or a freshly laid bantam egg (I have only one so far)?I reserve the right not to spend.
The less I spend, the more I can afford.

Well I can dream... :rotfl: And get paid for it... :j :T :rotfl:
*wanders off to carry on decluttering my flat... yep thats seriously what I'm doing all this week! :rotfl: *Mortgage free as of 12/08/20!
