Wow! Well done **kym**, that's brilliant.

With less than a fortnight to go, I haven't even made the halfway mark (£453.93). I just haven't dedicated enough time and energy into making it happen. I'm afraid trying to control spending, work, garden and house have been my priorities recently, and in that order. Next up are preparations for DD's wedding, so things just aren't happening here on the 1000 in 100 challenge. But it's still nice to know that it's rolling on in an attempt to negate all my spending within the misc, pets/vets/livestock and garden throughout 2009. I am still confident that it can be done.

Keep going, it's not over yet - we have until the 10th April and I'm really hoping that my cashback comes through. I'm STILL waiting for the Asda insurance cashback - what a con that was if they don't pay out, as promised.

On a more positive note, I received my £20 intro bonus from ING, hope everyone who could take advantage of this did.

  • Well done to everyone that's made it :j

I've added £4 from surveys and £20 from my dad, so I'm over the £100 mark now!

I'm still behind, but its not going too badly ....

    - around a fiver from little bits of interest, savings from bulk buys, etc.
    - £75 from capital spreads intro bonus
    - £10 Sainsburys voucher from ipoints
    - £27 from mystery shopping
    - £40 from a friend working other bonuses.

Its creeping up, but I'm still only at £762.43.

Hi guys, I'm still behind as well but have had a sudden boost by way of cashback from several sources, although STILL no signs of the £68 from Asda for buying my insurance from them! My total, with 9 days to go, now stands at £545.90, so I have broken through the half way mark :D

I'll not be continuing with this challenge after 10th April as I don't have the time during summer to keep up with all the threads etc, however, I will still be pursuing my extra free cash to help along my cash neutral budget and quest for financial self-sufficiency. Living on 4k per year thread will continue, as normal.

Thanks for doing this, nykmedia. I just heard that I've got £20.58 from quidco when it turns up, which will take me to £783.
