I booked 7 nights for me and my other half using one of the MGM Grand deals for a Bungalow King Suite at a total of around $580 since then I seen the deal with the Daily Buffet charges. However I have seen not great reviews for the Buffet so I am undecided if it is worth me cancelling my existing deal and booking with the buffet offer or not. Same room with the buffet deal comes in at $760 does anyone think its worth it?0

If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.0

So that's $180 extra or $25/day extra for 7 days. We would personally not eat at any buffet 7 days in a row (even if for breakfast a few times, lunch a few times, dinner a few times) - too many options in Vegas to limit ourselves to one place...it really depends on if you think you WOULD eat at the buffet at least once each day and if eating at that buffet at least once a day would save you an average of $25/day.
MGM buffet prices are:
Breakfast $14.50
Lunch $17.50
Dinner $25.99
Champagne Brunch $22.50
So if you and your other half would be happy to eat there once a day, it may be decent value...but not to say you couldn't have any given meal for less than $25 elsewhere.Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?0 -
are the bog standard rooms at the MGM grand still nice?0

The Bellagio FountainsThanks for the TR Stew.
We have seen Carrot Top. I found him quite amusing with a couple of laugh out loud moments, but it takes a lot to make me lol. Hubby thought he was funny. We are toying with seeing him next trip at half price, but may not/probably won't depending how we are feeling on the day.
Might see Mac King again as he was good value for money with the laughs he provided. Magic isn't really my thing.0 -

I toyed with changing our booking to take advantage of the free buffet. It was going to cost us $40 more for the 3 nights and we would have lose the $25 resort credit so a difference of $65.
However when I thought about it properly, I'm not even that keen on the MGM buffet and certainly wouldn't want to eat it or any buffet every single day for 3 days never mind a week.0 -
Just noticed the promotion expiry date on the MGM/Travelzoo offer has been extended to 10th April (still says 3rd on TZ but 10th on the MGM webpage)0

If you mean the Grand Tower rooms then yes, they are very nice indeed and a bargain if you can get them for $49/night as we have.0 -
