I have to say when I saw this I thought what great value but then thinking about it most people say that the Emperors buffet is inedible (my parents loved it) I think I agree its not for me. In any event the IP is not somewhere I would ever stay again

It must be a parent thing, my parents thought it was good for breakfast at least.
  • How many people can fit in a Las Vegas Cab (no not a riddle). We are a party of 5 - so will we need 1 or 2 cabs, do they have 7 seater cabs available or would we have to book one?

Has anyone else tried to cancel an Ultimate escape promotion (link from fatwallet) at the MGM, and had the same problems as me?

I know a couple on here who said they were not able to view their reservation online.

Anyway I couldnt view mine so I just rung them and kept getting passed around (5 different people) and they kept telling me I had to cancel online as it was a casino promotion.

Eventually got someone who said she could do it but she couldnt email a cancellation confirmation and didnt give me a cancelletion number until I pushed her and then said, the cancellation number is the same as the reservation number, which seems strange to me.

Does that all make sense and does it seem right? I will prob call again in a couple of days to check it has been cancelled.

Hi Photome, have you heard any more, I am in the same position and need to cancel too. Haven't rung yet but have not had a reply to my email.

   Ok Stoneman has come out and said about his skybelt fetish

So I have to come clean and say that I voted for the 'Sirens of TI,

I felt so sorry for these young ladies having to perform every night and obviously there is not enough money to give them proper clothes!

Stoneman, sorry after the picture you posted of your golf buddy (Wife) I have suddenly decided to start playing golf!

So any chance we can change the sirens of TI to Stoneman golf! I would gladly watch golf all day.:A

Normal cabs take 4 they will not take more but there are generally enough 5 or 7 seaters available for it not to be and issue and no need to book, wheer are you looking at gtting cab from or is it just generally ?

for those who aren't obsessively refreshing the currency market data (like me) the dollar has jumped on the back of the Fed's announcement yesterday...about $1.43 now (was down to about $1.38 at one point yesterday)...it's nothing compared to what we'd gotten used to, but it's something...and hopefully it will creep up a bit more. I really wish I had a crystal ball!
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?
  • We are staying at the MGM Grand, booked with Virgin as I had lot of vouchers. Virgin wanted to charge me £100.00 transfers to and from Hotel, but I thought I could do it for a lot less than that!!

Things are that bad that I've tried calling the playersclub hotline to sort out my online log in- and after about 20 attemps I can't get through to them- bloody voicemail BS.

When I had to change my MGM reservation, I called the general number and asked for Casino Marketing. (The people who dish out the good offers)
I was on hold for a little while, but they sorted me out. Hope you get through.

I wouldn't trust an email to cancel a hotel. It says on some hotel sites that they only accept cancellations via their website reservation system or by phone.

I had to call MGM to cancel and I think I got the number from their website. Took about 5 mins to answer and the clerk wasn't too friendly or helpful as she wouldn't give me a cancellation number or email, but it was cancelled.

    Try 001 877 880 0880 or 001 800 929 1111. I think it was the second one that I rang.

You still cannot look at or cancel a reservation online. It hasn't worked for months and it's about time they fixed it seeing as their confirmation email says you can cancel via the website.
