    Hi,
Have found the Bellagio for 3 nights in May for 2 people $557. Is this a good price or should I wait until nearer the time?

    Carolyn

Not very good, I got 12 nights for £730 and your $557 works out at around £380 for 3 nights.

There is no way a $20 tip is going to get you a spa suite. How long are you staying? I can give you some idea how much grease you might need to oil the wheels.
The common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot. If you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you do that you will have enough to pay for something better.

Booked the flights, booked the hotel & booked the wedding in Vegas! We forgot though that it would be Thanksgiving while we are there :o

Can anyone please recommend somewhere where we can get a nice Thanksgiving meal? In the $$-$$$ price range please.
    Cheers

We went to Top of the World at Stratosphere for Thanksgiving dinner one year...they had the normal offerings and then a traditional Thanksgiving meal as well...the food was overpriced in my opinion, but the view was stunning and for a special occasion it might be a nice option...some think the food is great - we didn't, but perhaps we were there on a bad night.

The menu is all ala carte so cost can vary quite a lot...I think we paid about $200 for three courses for 2 (no wine)...before tip.
Does remembering a time that a certain degree of personal responsibility was more or less standard means that I am officially old?

Checked into Rio and before I had time to say a thing or hand over my passport (With the $50 upgrade voucher) the person at reservations said, 'Have you stayed here before' of course my reply was no,

Ok we will put you in a nice room!

    Masquerade suite

A result for $49 per night,

Resort is good, bus is like a life saver.

There is plenty of talk about the lack of numbers here, figures released by the airport states that the volume of throughput was 35% down in 2008

If it wasn't for a couple of conventions this week (150000) it would indeed be quiet.

Everyone is harping on about the good old days 70's and how the mob used to run the place,

    Cheap hotel rooms
    Good food at cheap prices

And of course the footfall did the rest, the hotels have plenty of promo's for the locals to come in (Vegas folk) they can have coupon books and half price buffets

So think the prices are going to come down, some of these big buildings have below 50% occupancy

Anyone over next week, shops are getting ready for sales again (President's day!)

Just got back from Vegas, was class, had a brilliant time and did not spend as much money as I thought I would. If you can control your self and only gamble $30 a a day, you will be Ok. If you can get a hotel with kitchen, then its worth going to a super market and getting some shopping for about $40 and make your own breakfast and lunch.
