Does Virgin charge for sms delivery report; Minutes check

Hi all,

I have just taken out a sim only contract with virgin for £10/month.
I would like to know whether virgin charge for sms delivery report like orange do.

Also do they have a free automated service to check my remaining minutes.
They have a online check for account holder, but as you know that's inconvenient.

If they don't have neither then I will do the smart thing and disable sms report and set the
call timer and text counter for every month to ensure I don't go over the 200mins 200text allowance.

Hi

To check your balance you can text 'balance' to 789789 or ring 789 from your mobile which is free. If you speak with an advisor it will cost you 10p for the call.

Don't know if this is the same as sms delivery report but to receive text alerts it costs 5p.

I have Virgin PAYG and do not get charged for delivery reports.

I have 2 different sims, one PAYG by DD, and one PAYG for top up, and none are charged.

can't say I've ever seen anything about delivery reports. No-one has ever brought the price of it up to me through billing over 2 1/2 yrs so I can assume no. (I say assume incase i'm wrong lol)
