And people who work in retail would like to spend time with their familes on Boxing Day and New Years Day!!!!!!
(Sorry but it infuriates me that we are expected to work on these family occasions so others can go out and do something which is available to them 360+ other days in the year!!)0 -
Can see both sides as worked in retail for many years - I do think all shops should be closed today.
What about tomorrow (2nd Jan), anyone know? I have an unexpected babysitting offer and would relish the chance to get out and get some bits without a small person hanging off me?0 -
shops open in scotland on 2nd jan ... hubby working so i' going to pop out for a wee bit ...
