E7even Usage on BBUK Network

I have been using e7even for about 6mths now without any major problems until their recent upgrade issues. On the 28th of December I was transferred to the BBUK network along with many others and since then have had to access the Internet via their dial up number that they provided.

My scepticism arises from the fact that I download probably quite a lot GB per month and wondered if others transferred to the BBUK network were predominantly the same. Therefore would we be the type of customer that e7even no longer wanted ?

Any views on this matter would be greatly appreciated, as would the download habits of anyone who has been transferred to the BBUK network.

Thanks in advance,

Ali

I was also transferred to the BBUK realm and I am a heavy user. Someone suggested the same thing on ADSL guide.org.uk e7even board, but many people who were transferred over to bbuk were light users. I think e7 transfer choices are random, but please correct me if I am wrong.

I'm a light user, 3gb per month max. Mainly emails & surfing.
  • Me too.(light user)
Could it be that users who don't have much of their contract left & therefore would need least refunding are the fall guys?
    My contract ends in May.

My own contract is not supposed to expire until 30/4/08, so not the people with shorter contracts either. It would be interesting to find out what the selection process was for transferring certain users to bbuk - or was it a stab in the dark ????

This same question was asked in the E7 forum at adslguide. The amount of results, and the randomness of heavy/light new/old contracts made it look like they selected users by random.

lol.........With the way that E7 have performed recently. They probably used advanced technology to select customers for this network (ie.....a pin, a blindfold, and a big list of all their customers).

  • I have 5 accounts with e7even and 1 account is working fine on the old e7even.com but the others are not working no matter what username I have I was advise 2 changed to bbuk and the other to e7even-reserve.com but they dont work no matter what i use. I can never get on the dial up so Im going to move all 5 accounts.

  • I was advised there was no selection of customer to change to bbuk just those on there old server which they are updating then removing. Looks like they done the removing but forgot the upgrade
