No goods no refund from 247 electrical

Has anybody had dealings with this company?
I placed an order over Christmas which had not been dispatched by the 11/01 as agreed. I cancelled the order on 12/01 and have still not recieved either my refund or confirmation that my order has been cancelled. I have emailed them several time with no response. Everytime I try and call them the message says the lines are closed due to excessive emails...
I am very annoyed and not sure what to do next.

Have they no phone number that you can contact them on? When you next email them say you have copied the email to trading standards and quote a load of garbage - often gets them moving!
If you have paid by credit card do a charge back or whatever they call it!Weight Loss - 102lb0 -
I have had the same problem - ordered a settop box in October and it didn't work, returned it with much difficulty with a week and no refund. There is no number that works and they do not reply to emails. I went on this site http://www.howtocomplain.com and got a reply within 1 day that the refund would be in my account in 24 hours - that was last month, still no refund. But the site seems to work in getting a response out of them and you can escalate your complaint which I am about to do on Friday as I gave them a deadline.0

they are a nightmare to deal with on telephone

not sure if this helps i just made a purchase from MYDV before xmas of a gift for my neice the item was meant to be delivered before xmas only didnt arrive even after several complaints emails phonecalls they finally said delivery in jan blah blah so i informed them that the ift was no longer required as it would be easier to by it in the sale somewhere else. they assured me it would arrive within 24 hours finally on mon tried again to get refund they dont pick up their phones nor do is their website working AHHHHHHHH
I phoned the bank as i paid via my debit card to see if i had any cover on the goods she said no but explained the fraud department might help?
she filled a form out online and sent me a copy which stated that ads the company hadnt delivered the goods nor had they refunded me they will do a reversal of funds from the companys bank account.
so if you did pay by card even if its a debit card your banks fraud department may well be able to get a refund for you?

I finally got my refund!!!! I have know placed another order with John Lewis..hopefully the should deliver the goods...0

I have had HUGE problems with this company - ignoring email after email after email... so I will try that phone number!!! They take your money off you quick enough, just don't bother with customer service when they sell you something FAULTY!!!!0

I would really say avoid them if you can - I have already reported them to the Trading standards as I never got my refund back and they called me the next day with a direct tel phone number which works. Let me know if anyone needs it. Still waiting for the refund though!0
