To the very best of my knowledge dmg24 is neither male nor a robot, and she offers a lot of very good advice on these boards. She doesn't design benefits policy – and can't be held responsible for its shortcomings – she merely imparts information.
Making personal attacks on users simply because you don't like the advice you've received is pathetic, and won't do much to encourage other users to offer you advice in the future.
Thanks briona if u haven't got anything constructive to say don't waste a post love - how childish you are.:j Meduza0 -

And that coming from someone thinks working 9-5 equates to being a robot?!I wasn't moaning thanks - and if you want to have a digg go and find someone else love - my OH is working much more than most of you. Why is it that we al have to be like robots and work 9 to 5? go and get a life.
Of course working an 18.5hr week I doubt that you know what 9-5 is!
So yes, you're probably right – posting anything for you to read IS a waste of time. You'd rather join the queue of people whinging about how they've paid into the system all their lives and now can't get any help! :rolleyes:If I don't respond to your posts, it's probably because you're on my 'Ignore' list.0 -

I agree with you!
If you need more money and can not get help, then unless you want to loose everything you either need to get a second job or a different one. Acting is a great profession, however unless your Robero De Niro it don't pay much and if other work doesn't pay then why not stack shelves in Tesco? I did it to pay for college. No shame in it.
Also I explained to someone else earlier you should not insult people, because they give an opinion you do not like.:rolleyes:No you're not a vegetarian if you eat any animal or fish, so do not insult genuine veggies by calling yourself one!
Thanks to everyone who posts competitions. You are the stars of the board :T:j:T0 -
By decent I mean any law abiding job that doesn't pay cash in hand, it has nothing to do with your performance in your current role over the last 6 years that they should automatically offer you another position if one were available without an interview, there are strict guidelines surrounding employment law and fairness and if there is a position available in your workplace, it does not automatically make you entitled to it without an interview and the chance for other candidates. Can u define decent lol???
And why should I have to have another interview if I already have a job - even if I were to be offered another position I think they should know by now after 6 yrs if I'm good or not, redundancy or no redundancy.
Where I work (a large international blue chip company) if I want another position within the comany I will have to be interviewed for it along with everyone else and whoever is the most suitable, gets the job.
If you take the attitude that they should just offer you a job without an interview then yes you will very shortly end up out of workAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
The OP is obviously a wind up. I've known several actors, many of whom spent a lot of time "resting". They all worked in bars, restaurants, call centres etc when there was no acting work to be had; it's the normal thing to do in the theatre. In addition , when they weren't working, they were supported by their partners' earnings; all could be repaid when the actor "hit the big time".
I doubt the OP has been nearer to a theatre than selling ice cream in the foyer!0 -

Oh Oldernotwiser, how could you say such a thing!
The OP's partner apparently works MUCH harder than all the rest of us – despite us apparently all being no life 9-5 robots, and not just any old robots either – we're PAPER PUSHING robots pretending to look busy! :rotfl:
Not sure what "specialist skills" acting requires (besides speaking, walking, wearing make up – all things that most people are capable of) but it's worth noting that my non 9-5, non-robot, non-paper pushing job pays hugely well, thus affording me the life the OP suggests I go and get...I wasn't moaning thanks - and if you want to have a digg go and find someone else love - my OH is working much more than most of you. By the way acting is a proper job which uses loads of skills not like most paper pushers who look busy doing nothing and ticking boxes.

oh ok let people take the p''s and not say anything back, dont think so, not likely. if people offer critical but fair advice then fair enough thats what the board is for advice not peoples personal opinions of the op. but when people are just being plain rude and obnoxious, then what do they expect, a thanks.in this life im afraid be expected to spoken to how you speak to other people.if yoy put nasty comments on replies expect to have one back (no doubt some t@@@r will moan about my capitals and punctuation, but do you know what i dont give a flying f''k about what you think)0

I don't think you can expect the state to support you just becuase you don't want to be a robot like most people and work 9 to 5 (at least!)
That would be very unfair on everybody else, don't you see?.0 -

Just quoting this as proof that MIMI123 is also posting as mozza53.f'''k off back to Poland then, you obviously haven't got the manners or the guts that your forefathers had.Gone ... or have I?0
