I am not allowed to reply to this and keep inside the boards posting guidlines.

Yet right there is the problem with the benefits system, MSEs moderation and the society out there today.

Indeed! Robots and 9-5! Whatever next? Weekend and nights? Holy Smoke!

By the way acting is a proper job which uses loads of skills not like most paper pushers who look busy doing nothing and ticking boxes.

From the sounds of things, there's not much 'job' being done at the moment.

No and there's no money at the moment either - that's cause all the big fishes have been greedy and got us to this awful situation!!!

yeah, they're run out of jobs lol - and other departments are full - besides to change to another are you must go through the job interviews, etc.

To get any decent job you must have an interview, no one will offer you a job without one

  • i hope you get your situation sorted out, bless you. how many hrs do you work a week? is it part time or full time?. your hubby may be able to claim conts only if he has paid his taxes for the last 2 years (obviously he needs to have earned enough) but make sure you make a claim when or if your job goes. hope the new year is better for you.

    Can u define decent lol???

And why should I have to have another interview if I already have a job - even if I were to be offered another position I think they should know by now after 6 yrs if I'm good or not, redundancy or no redundancy.

That's right, blame the big fishes.

You had a vote - and you're just as responsible as everyone else for electing a Labour government. Even if you didn't, you should've fought harder against them.

Anyway, if you want a job so badly - then as previously suggested, McDonalds are hiring and are very flexible towards shift patterns.

  • thank you love - i work 18 & 1/2 hrs per week officially - but many times i end up overtime with no payment. i will go to CAB very soon and hope they'll advise me what i can get - it's so unfair when people don't pay taxes and get benefits and us (my other half and myself), we've paid taxes all our lives and now that we go through a spot of bother we can't even get any help.

You have been advised of your entitlement Meduza09. CAB are not going to tell you anything different. I fear that your biggest obstacle to earning a decent income is your attitude. I mean this constructively, if you need clarification please reread your posts on this thread.
    Gone ... or have I?
