push email phone?worth it?

Hi,

I have o2's sim only deal - 600 mins/1000 text/unlimited internet for £20 p/m.
I had a sony erricison k770i which I then gave my husband as I was product testing a motorola q9 for lightspeed surveys. I was meant to be testing it for a year but they are closing the panel at the end of this month and then I shall be phoneless! gulp.

Now, I could just ask my husband for my phone back but I have loved having this motorola q9 - it has windows mobile and push email and is much easier to go online etc so Im thinking I'd like a new phone.

Are there any phones that do push email that I can just buy to work with my sim deal?
Are there any very good contract deals at the moment or coming soon?
Should I give up the idea of getting a push phone - are there phones that are good for being able to check email quickly and reply easily?

thanks for any help

emoze (google it) is push mobile for phones with s60 on them. i use it on my n95

although if you want hotmail pushed it has got to be a windows mobile i think.

Yes I would like to know this also? And to clarify I can't use Emoze with hotmail, what about gmail?

    Thanks.

Emoze works with gmail, Hotmails a pain for any push system (unless things have changed since I tested Blackberrys a while ago).

It is an operating system which runs on many Nokia handsets, and some handsets from other phone makers. There is a list here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Symbian_Series_60

As for a handset, you would be hard pressed to find a bad review of a Nokia E71. Link: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nokia_E71

Not sure about emoze, but Hotmail now have an agreement with RIM and works fine with BlackBerry :)

I have the same sim-only contract and have a Nokia E71 using push email, which works fine. I swapped my unlimited text for a web bolt-on too.

thanks for the explanations of emooze.
I went for the G1 google phone in the end which is working well. (except I moved house and cant get decent signal - neither can friends on vodafone, o2, orange or virgin grrr! It slows down the push email but its working pretty well generally yay!)
