this is disgusting. what kind of parent would allow a 7yr old to wear a padded bra!
  • That is just typical of BHS. They are so out of touch with the public and i wouldn't be suprised if they were the next shop going out of business.

Is it any wonder we have teenage pregnancies and loutish behaviour? Kids are made to grow up so quickly nowadays and are not emotionally equipped for it. Kids are kids at 7 years old, society should be encouraging that, not sexualising childhood.

Contact head office and complain. Not sure how much good it will do though.

    Shouldn't be suprised really.

  • Must agree, that's awful. My daughter is 9 and has just started wearing a bra. She said that she wouldn't wear anything with the slightest bit of padding, thank god. If it helps Peacocks and ethel austin sell 'normal' cotton bras. HTH

That is terrible. I'm surprised such a largely respectable store would sell these. They should be ashamed.

i agree but no doubt some parent somewhere will let their child have 1.
  • What does it even look like? I didn't know you could get bras by age, only by size... my first bra would have been a 32AA or similar..?

 If I say something you like....Please hit the thanks button
  • quite sad though really. Kids are growing up far too quickly
  • I agree too. I think it is wrong for BHS to be selling padded bras for such young children to be honest. They should be selling non-padded bras, t-shirt vests, or belly tops.

Primark, Pineapple, New Look and MK One so some good childrens underwear.
