I think there's still about £60K on the mortgage but it does mean we've paid off about £11K of debt capital. I'm kinda amazed that we've done in nearly 18 months and I'm sure we could have done it much faster.DFW Nerd Club #545 Dealing With Our Debt

When I had my daughter 8 years ago I asked at my 20 week scan what sex she was and they told me they would check after all the measurements were done. When they had finished they said she had turned over and couldn't get her to roll back. I am so glad I didn't find out, after being pregnant for 42 and a bit weeks, 27 hours of horrendous labour and an emergency c-section, the surprise was lovely even if she was 9lb and I was convinced she would only be 7 1/2lb at the most! (clothes I had bought only went up to 8lb I was that convinced!:o )0

My DD is ten. Back then (or as my DD would say in the olden days) it was hospital policy NOT to tell parents what sex the baby was.

Technology is different now far more advanced and the scans are so much clearer. I guess they are right most of the time these days
