    Afternoon all

It's been a really rough few days but thankfully things are a lot better in cat's house and I'm back to feeling all optimistic and positive. I just hate feeling all down and despondent so had a few days offline to get it out my head and maybe get my head screwed on right.

Went shopping on Saturday and ordered a travel system from Mothercare (in true MSE fashion it had £50 off) so was a bargain and it was the one I'd been looking at virtually since the pregnancy test came up positive. Was told it would be delivered in a week or so but it came this morning and the nice DHL driver carried it to my mum's house (8 doors away) so it's languishing there. But I really want to play with it.

I also bought the totally impractical suitcase that I've loved for nearly a year (poppyfields from Radley) and it had 20% off so feel that was a bargain. We've also bought some more clothes for Evie in the sales; some nice wintery things ready for next year.

    I hope everyone's having a great time.

Quick question for Cat or anyone else who might know... how accurate are they on sexing babies in scans these days? someone I know has been told she's having a girl but I'm not sure whether or not to go buy the pink stuff now (in the sales) or if it might turn out to be a boy who was hiding something...
