Poorandindenial, if you didn't buy any clothes last year I would put the recent spending down to what you were owed;) from 2008, and start again for 2009.
    Pay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000
June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40
    Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j
  • I bought a few bits last year, but not many (about three tops and a pair of trousers I think all in the sales), and there are still a few bits and bobs that I could do with buying to bring me vaguely up to date

    BUT

I did spend £338.16!!!!! yesterday so not too sure I can bend the rules that far

Although I like your thinking :D

PS - I did just realise that in my pre-dfw days I would easily have spent that or more each month  at least I am reformed from that!
£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)
    Sealed Pot #389 (2010=£133)
  • I spent some of my money!

£7 on a top (ironing emergency)

£10 on a ridiculous shawl thing cos I was SO cold this weekend

£14 on a hooded top (also a cold emergency)

£5 on a top (to go with said hooded top in coldness)

£3 on a purple vest top.

    Bloody hell that's 39 pounds

I am allowed to sell my shoes on Ebay to make me clothes spending money?

*really hopes the answer is yes*

    xxxx
    Nevertheless she persisted.
  • Buffy - I think you will see that I am in no position to judge the spending of others

Don't sell your warm shoes though - it is bloody FREEZING out there! :)

Hmmm, yes to numbers 1,2 & 3 ... not really to number 4, how often is a person who works from home 3 days a week & has the social life of a panda likely to wear a pink suede coat

you won't be wearing it round the house to get your money's worth then :rotfl::rotfl:

Well done Buffy :T I think you've just come up with a new & sneaky way to streeeeeetch our £100 allowance...

From this day on I do declare that any money made by selling old clothes shall be exempt from the £100 allowance :D

that good enough for you ? I'm still deducting the £39 until you make that sale though just so you dont think I'm a pushover :rotfl:

What about us technophobes who don't know how to sell on ebay? Can't remember if using Quidco money is allowed. Ooh, just thought, what about car boot sales?
