Hi everyone, its the first time i've been on since i joined the challenge and i'm very pleased to say that I have resisted temptation for a whole month. There have been a couple of close calls which tested my will power, but I bravely put the items back and ran quickly out of the shops :rotfl: I never knew I had it in me. :T I've even this weekend gone through my wardrobe and taken out all the things I haven't worn for ages or at all!!! and I'm going to put them on ebay. I have to say i'm actually enjoying this challenge and I'm looking forward to another clothes free spending month for February. Good luck everyone.:jYou've got to be in it to win it!! Just believe to receive!! :j

Well done weenapops & everyone else who has resisted so far ...
I do however, wish that you would all stop putting your clothes on ebay & tempting me
I'm currently watching a pink suede coat that soooo wants to be mine
It's 2 months worth of clothes allowance already though so I will probably just have to watch ...
Cant believe I'm even admitting to it

I do believe we are allowed to buy some clothes!:rotfl: If it's 2 month's allowance you can get it and just not buy anything else in Feb, then you will be up to date. Will you use it? Does it go with other things in your wardrobe? Do you love it? If so, go get it:DPay/save £20k in 2010 £5888.75/£20,000June Mini target 0/5lbs Total 23/40Ebay profit 2010: March £207:) April £95:) May £130:) June £0 Total £432:j0 -

If it's gorgeous and a bargain, and if it'll make you feel fabulous when you wear it (and if you can think of loads of opportunities to wear it) then maybe it's supposed to be yours0 -
Thanks sarah - never one to dissuade another from making a purchase :rotfl: :A
It certainly goes along with my William Morris method of purchasing in that I believe it to be beautiful...however I'm just too scared that something I love even more may come along next month & then I wont have enough money to buy anything else  .
The rational side of me (which I dont let out very often) knows that this is an emotional comfort purchase so I'll hang on & see how I feel in a few hours ...before time runs out on the item

Erm - I have to confess that yesterday I reached and breached (more than once ) my limit for the year, so I can honestly say I am out!!!!
I have put the eek thingy above but I actually feel quite positive about it as I was getting so down because I pretty much already hadn't bought any clothes for just over a year and everything was looking rather dated and while I have never been what one might call 'bang on trend' I did always do OK on the style stakes (I modestly proclaim - lol) and have felt really dowdy and miserable of late.
Anyhow, sorry to let the side down guys, and good luck with the challenge.
Lula - move away from that coat! :rotfl:£34,547 (Dec 07); Current debt: £zilch (Debt free December 2010)

Hmmm, yes to numbers 1,2 & 3 ... not really to number 4, how often is a person who works from home 3 days a week & has the social life of a panda likely to wear a pink suede coat :rolleyes:0 -

:rotfl: thank you Lula, I will keep on posting so that I can (slightly hypocritically) tell you all off when you go wayward (do as I say and not as I do and all that)
It is always so much easier to tell others to be good than to do it yourself isn't it (well it is for me and my willpower of a feather)
On the bright side I bought a jacket for work that will (accidentally) do for all the weddings that I have this year so that solves a small problemand some how I am sure I can make myself feel like I have saved myself money
