Thanks for the confessions
but Maz... how are you losing all the weight ?
I'm doing the Cambridge diet, terribly boring, nothing to eat but bearing up... worth it when i see myself go down a size or two...(2 down, 4 to go! lol!!)I'm just a seething mass of contradictions....(it's part of my charm!)0 -
Never heard of the cambridge diet, i need to lose weight too or i will have to buy summer clothes this year when i have lots in a smaller size in the roof!I do still have £45 left from the money hubby gave me for xmas, and haven't bought anything since the last time earlier this month so an v pleased with myself - would love a new coat as the zips are broken on mine (that that they meet in the middle anyway!) but the only coat i liked in the sale was in it because the zip was broken lol so i didn't get it. I have one in the garage i tried to car boot but i'm worried it'll be full of spiders, we've got some big uns out there!grocery challenge jan 17 £ / 350.000

Hi - I don't spend much on clothes, even now pretty much lost all the weight I wanted to but - here's a post I just stuck on the weight loss bit due to fab range in sizes -
on a quick 'cheaper' retail therapy note, I do shop sometimes at Simply Be / Simply Yours online (www.simplyyours.co.uk sizes 14-30 something), and one thing I have learned is ALWAYS call them before you place the online order and say you had a 20% voucher come through or have had an email you can't find or had heard from a friend etc - I've never got less than 10% this way. Also you can order up loads of stuff and try it all on in privacy of your own home and you can also send the whole lot back if nothing is working for you, and all you pay is the postage of £2.99. DO be aware though that this is a 'credit account' system they operate which was news to me, and works very like a credit card. SO send clothes you don't want back well within the time limit, and any you buy pay for immediately would be my advice.
it is a satisfying window shopping thing though, and I find the prices pretty good.
I then sell anything I've not worn (theoretically if not worn in 1 year I sell!) plus also sold all my bigger clothes recently on ebay. Decided I don't really want loads of clothes I dont want to wear, so buy a few staples - nice jeans, daggy jeans (= old nice jeans!) a couple of pairs of trews, and go with the plain well cut tops and then the scarves and jewellery makes the difference. Old advice I know, but it seems to work well!

Hello,
Can you take £19.50 off my total as I bought a pencil skirt today for this amount reduced from £69. It will do for now with tights and then a more casual look also in the summer. I had to think hard if it was worth buying or not, but it was so well made I decided to go for it and it should last a good while!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550
