Siemens SF65 any good?

I'm thinking about getting this phone on an o2 contract.
Does anyone know if it's any good?
Is the camera, user interface, menus, phone software, pc software and good?

I tried to look at one in a CPW store, but they only had 3 phones and one (flat) battery!

Any info would be appreciated.

I think this phone is great, possibly not top spec. On some of the review pages it has been said to be difficult to connect to computer, though I have not tested that yet, and some comments have been made saying the camera is not as expected. Compared to some mobiles I would say the samera is very good.

These were being sold on the Virgin website reconditioned for £34.99 with sim and £24.99 without. These are usually locked to Virgin though. I bought one of these and for that price it is a real bargain and my daughter loves it.

It really depends on what phone you are comparing it too, spec wise, and how much your tarif on contract is for it.

If you give us an idea of a second phone you would consider then we could tell you our opinion on which is better.

Pop along to this web site to check it out.

The Virgin site seams to be out of ths reconditioned SF65 phones but you can also buy then new there with sim and £15.00 credit

The price for a NEW SF65 is £59.99 with sim & £15 credit

The Reconditioned SF65's seam to be sold out now but may come back on.

You could try calling the Virgin on 0845 6000 070 to see if they have any stock that way.

I placed this post a few days ago with the offer

Thanks for your opinion mjenn5. I opted for a Nokia 6822 in the end, after I read that the Siemens was unreliable when connecting to a pc, and that it would occasionally crash. I also wanted a Bluetooth connection.
I like my phones to be a bit unusual, and the Siemens matched most of my criteria. I could get the Siemens for £7.75/month with 200 mins & 100 texts, or the Nokia for £11.66/month. I decided I could justify the extra £4/month!
