    you sad little man.

I fail to see what is "sad" about expecting people to at least try and write properly - for example starting each sentence with a capital letter. Unless of course they are purely trying to be a "Troll".

It naturally follows that your response to someone pointing this out is to call them "a@@holes". Who is the sad one when you have to resort to crude insults ?

First prize is a lesson in spelling and punctuation. Second prize is a lesson in manners. Third prize is a M&S Cheese and Tomato Fritter.

Hey MIMI - thought you'd sorted this out?

Can I just say, that you are always a bit quick to be rude to people and call them names. Now I know sometimes people on here can wind you up but I've been around this forum for three years now and your attitude will not help matters.

You know you went off at me yesterday for no reason other than misreading my post, and I was trying to help you! Maybe just bite back the nasty comments rather than hit post in future?

You get more with honey than with vinegar, so they say.

    :)

    It's a troll.

    Don't take the bait.

Hi, Martin’s asked me to post this in these circumstances: While it’s easy to wander off-topic that often prevents newbies finding the information they want quickly and easily (please see this rule). Please keep this thread on topic. If you’d like to discuss non-MoneySaving related topics please continue your discussion in The MoneySavers Arms or Discussion Time. luckily you didnt bite down on it and break or chip a tooth....you could end up quite a bit out of pocket for dental work...

Its no fun doing that. I bit down on something in my food in a Shanghai hotel and broke my tooth. On return to the UK (Have you seen a Shanghai dentist? Insurance or no insurance I preferred to wait for a UK practice) I had to have it crowned - costly and no fun either, so a stone in the food is a serious thing. I would think M&S would take it seriously too.

 went to my local M&S today to purchase the deal 3 boxes of party food and a bottle of Cava for a tenna. i cooked some of the party food tonight for the children and found whilst eating the cheese and tomato fritters something hard like a stone inside my mouth. i retrieved the stone and it looked like a piece of gravel. i am not happy at all i thought that M&S were one of the top food retailers obviously not. i am going to take the stone back tomorrow so will let you know what happens.
(idiots need not reply to this thread)
Just read about your problem with M&S food - me too - 2 Sundays ago was eating a piece of their Xmas cake - the bar one with iced top and cracked one of my back teeth on something in it - maybe a bit of stone from the fruit? By the time I realised I swallowed it and my broken bit of tooth. Quick dash to Boots before they shut and got an emergency dental pack to do a temporary fix. Got a dental apptmt next day and £45 later - had a refilled tooth!! Have had no more cake since.

DS has a birdseye fishfinger and there was a massive bone-he found this whilst it was in his mouth, I was livid. I returned it to them recorded delivery and was showing people in the queue in the post office and it's lucky it was 6yr old DS not 2yr old DD as she might have choked, DS has more sense.

Food safety is so important, I do now understand why OP has been attached so much, if people didn't report indcidences like this then companies wouldn't know about short comings. Birdseye in my considered opinion weren't really all that bothered so I won't be buying any birdseye products again-I will look forward to hearing what M&S reply when contacted. Dental work is obviously important but lets look at the bigger picture people-somebody could of choked to death.
Oh....I'm not going to lie to you......At the end of the day, when alls said and done......do you know what I mean.........TIDY

I assume you mean "not", but have you actually read the OP's aggressive opening post? It's not really conducive to helpful replies, is it?

Yes i do have to agree with you, if we didnt report foreign objects being found in food then the stores would be none the wiser to the cleanliness in their factories. I wouldnt be happy either if my children had found a bone in their fish finger that is sooo dangerous, especially with children, its lucky you found it and your child didnt choke on it. Makes you wonder what the hygeine is like in some of these factories that are preparing food for public consumption.
