Good luck, I will be waiting now for tommorrow to find out so dont let us down
No pressure then- I was hoping my fellow MSE from Cardiff sandra-fletcher had bagged a free gym ball too but haven't heard anything yet ? I hope Boots come up with more offers soon as I think you have all converted me into a Boots shopper from now on.
I have just unpacked my bags and shown hubby what I have got today at Boots using vouchers and points, about £100 worth for a £7 spend, he is astounded. I don't think he believed that it was possible to shop as wisely as I am beginning to do now. I even went to Tescos tonight and got my free bodyform 98p a pack but each has a £1.00 voucher on, total spend was £16.00 - total bill was £2.31 after the cashier took all my vouchers. Somehow shopping without vouchers these days doesn't seem right :rotfl:I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Thanks for the EA list I will print it out and take it to my local
store tomorrow. I am not sure that there will be anything left though as my sister had the last few candles a week or so ago and I have not seen anything cheap since. I got the pulse point gels in the canterbury store and wont be going there tomorrow.
To those who have asked, I will see what I get tomorrow and if there is anything I will let you know. I am taking OH with me as he used to work there and has friends on the tills who generally let us use all the vouchers we can!
I am excited about looking for the gym ball but am a but unsure about how it will work. So all I need are the two vouchers from the seperate leaflets and they both scan to take off £5, is that right?
My Boots list is growing for tomorrow, I just hope I feel well enough to look around properly!!!!0 -

if you are referring to the gymball it is one pink and one blue voucher each worth £5.00 off. My SA accepted both today but when I tried to do the same with the ab toner I was refused. Really depends on the SA. Good Luck with your shopping.I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL

Can you picture it!!
The big Boots in Basingstoke still had the old yellow leaflets yesterday, with both TD and DR (but no TD under £5). Did you go to the small one next to Tesco? (That's my private little Boots -- they're usually great!)
No I'm from bristol, but popped in Basingstoke on my travels for the first time, I went to the big one I think, gutted now I missed the other one - but I've got enough stuff to keep me happy!0 -
Why does it not work for me?
I am giving myself a self-imposed ban on entering Boots. All I do is go in, spend an hour trying to find deals, take them to the till and then they don't go through - I challenge anyone to have a success in Carlisle Boots - cannot be possible! 3rd disastrous visit. Gathered up £20 worth of stuff (which didn't really need) to get 300 points but then asked the SA take £5 worth of stuff off because vouchers i had wouldn't work so that took me below the £20 so bought £15 worth of stuff and got no extra points. OH was dying on spot of embarrassment.
I tried to buy a jemima kidd nailfile for £2 to get the 300 points from the coupon in the mag but that didn't work (I know it says not on accessories but seeing as they give away ab machines for nothing I thought I might be in with a chance - but no, didn't happen. I had a £1 EA vouchers which tried to use on a £2 sleep essence thing (not reduced and not a miniature but it didn't work either).
I spent £5 on fcuk products that definitely didn't need to get 100 points and bought a horrid sandwich to get 50 points. Because all the above went so badly, separately bought a curly tong thing for £25 so did end up with 2 £3 hair vouchers - with those bought 2 hair products to use with the curly tong thing which cost me £4 on top of the vouchers. I am inconsolable :wall:
Only thing that made day slightly better was the Monsoon and Accessorise sale - bought more goodies for pressies for Christmas - 70% off - is really brill.
So don't know how you all do it - just can't understand how the tills in some stores will let the vouchers go through and in others they won't ... I will not be tempted any more ....(Angus is my dog, not me ...)0 -
Boots was rather sucessful for me today too! Loads of left over xmas gifts down to £3. Including the FCUK 3 peice box sets!!
Also OH picked up a little demin handbag, tis lovely, i thought it was someones actual bag as there were no tags on it at all but upon opening it we saw it contained a bottle of perfume and body spray. So he asked a SA and was told £2!!! Went to the til to pay and told that SA £2 and she looked at him and was like 'yeah right' so the original one came over and said 'yes thats £2'!!
The booklets i have had up here havent had any TD vouchers in them but did get a DR spray and hand gift set for my mums birthday for £5 instead of £18.50 so was really pleased. Puzzles me as to why they have a BOGOF on the DR and still the £5 off too!! And have only realised today that you can use 2 diff vouchers and get free gym balls / ab toners. Want to nip back tomorrow to try it out and to use my hair voucher but car is in the garage tomorrow morning and not sure when it will be out. Fingers crossed i can get down.
I LOVE BOOTS!!!! LOLBringing up 2 handsome boys and 1 gorgeous girl the MSE way!Joseph born 19th December 2001Matthew born 8th August 2007Tara born 23rd January 20110 -
If anyone near Mansfield (Four Seasons Centre) is after the gym stuff they had an Ab Toner & also several Gym Starter kits & Gym Balls this afternoon.
They are on the back wall on the left of the main checkout area. The EA stuff is here too. Still had yellow candles, Orange EDT in silver box & shower gel.
Loads of DR, still on BOGOF but not marked. No TD under £8.
Picked up some nice samples of face cream on No 7 counter.
At the bottom end of the store there is a well stocked reduced section including lots of Barefoot Doctor stuff at 25p. Also some Botanics stuff.
Went on to the Retail Park but no TD under £8 & no EA worth having. No Gym stuff either.
Lots of reduced misc bits at the end of aisles & trays of assorted reduced make up near the No 7 counter.
Plenty of leaflets in both stores.
HTH someone.
