Had a good trip to Boots at Monks Cross in York yesterday -
got some little mirrors in pouches £5 down to £1.25
some face masks 99p down to 49p
they had the botanics day shift moisturiser so put it through the till with another botanics product as they were on bogof so with voucher from last mailing I got them both free.
they had some of the ea pulse points
and managed to find some of the time delay eye cream round the corner from the main TD display. and also had line smoother. Most TD had no price tags - had plenty of tags with out of stock over them for cheaper bits and pieces though with big empty gaps.
Used £5 no7 voucher to get some nail stuff I wanted for £1.
And a couple of things I went in to get.
So:
Spent £11.09
Points: 43
For products worth: about £75
The people I went to with the time delay didn't bat an eyelid and didn't seem to know what the vouchers were and looked like saturday staff so that was good.
Couldn't see any Danielle Ryman stuff anywhere though - wouldn't have minded trying some of this stuff - anyone know where's theres any in York?Initial Mortgage January 2024 - £160,000
Initial Mortgage free date - January 2058
Mortgage as of 1st February 2024 - £159,134.98
Overpayments to date - £79.62
Current Mortgage free date - January 20580 -
I don't know if this has been mentioned before but I took 2 aromatherapy candles and 2 aromatherapy lavender bath powders to the checkout, prices 74p for the candles and £1.99 for the bath powders. I gave in 1 aromatherapy voucher for £1 off and the till deducted £1 off each item
i.e. I paid £1.98 in total.
Hope that this helps someone where they will only allow 1 voucher per person.0 -
I got 2 Bergamot blissful EA eau de toilettes today reduced to £2 for £1 using EA coupon in lilac leaflet..... there was no SEL, but I knew from this site that it could not be more than £2. Anybody know how much it was originally? Smells quite nice and will make a great pressie together with the candles I got the other day. Only bargain I got in Boots today! The only reason I am asking is that the "blue" edt in EA range was still £8......:eek:0

Got a couple more DR items from Cheltenham High Street today - no signs up saying BOGOF anymore, but they are still going through the till as BOGOF, which is great
Also got two more Pulse Point gels and a free Capsule Gym Ball using the vouchers from the Fitness and Lose Weight booklets. The young girl on the till was very impressed at my haul and asked me how it worked, so I filled her in. She got up to grab some leaflets and got herself the last Gym Ball left on the shelf!
I have no idea what I'm going to do when this offer runs out next week - going to Boots makes me giddy with glee at the moment, I'll be so depressed when it ends.0 -
financial_filly wrote:So far, fingers crossed the SA in gy havent been as bad as others i have read about although the shelves are looking very empty of anything less than £8
I've been in today and I noticed that theres only one item for £5.50 (line corrector or something) They've even taken the TD hand cream off the hand cream section.
Retford had lots of toner in last week, but its maybe gone now0 -
