Boots Grabbit Bargains Part 5

I've reached the end of the line at my small local Boots.
I was going in every lunchtime this week to pick up a TD product but today I was refused my one item purchase.
They obviously recognized me as I approached the TD shelf. The shelf packer ran off to alert the SA's and security was called over to the front till to stand guard.
As I handed the SA the item, she grabbed it off me and told me it was one per customer across all Boots stores. I said that wasn't on the voucher terms. She said I was abusing the offer. I said she was making me feel like a shoplifter (what with the queue of interested people behind me). We reached deadlock so I said I'd give the voucher to someone else.
I wonder if I am now in the Boots file under "Voucher Abuser". I can't show my face there again - it was highly embarrassing.0 -
Suddenly remembered yesterday that there is another branch of Boots in Canterbury, at Wincheap (for anyone local) as well as the new one on Whitefriars. They have almost full stock on DR(nothing reduced, but BOGOF) and TD (nothing reduced 3 for 2). I have been in twice and bought 2 lots of TD.I have almost finished a set for myself, so I am hoping to get enough to treat my sister as well!
They also have lots of sale stuff, and so I have also bought Wallace and Gromit and Simpson soap on a rope £1 each, some EA minis, and the voucher did not work on these. I also found the EA body mask, which was 24p with voucher, and pulse points, which my 13 yr old daughter loves. I saw the Glitter babe sets, but don't know any girls that age. My daughter is going to have the £5 17 make up and get free nail gift set, but I need her with me to choose!
I have not had any queries from SA's but I have tried to be discreet, and buy other things as well!
Many thanks to all for all the tips and advice.

OMG! What a horrible thing to happen to you. I would certainly give Boots head office a call and make a complaint against all the staff involved. One item a day is nothing compared to what some people have got.
Was there any sign in the shop saying it was one per customer? The terms and conditions on the back of the voucher say one per transaction...not customer.
Give them a call and give them hell!0 -
