tried that site before, not much of a use.0 -
hey, I did almost exactly the same journey last year - I was living in Rotterdam, and went from there via Amsterdam to Prague then Berlin, and back to r'dam!!
We used Eurolines coaches http://www.eurolines.com/ and it worked out really cheap. We tried to plan our journeys t be overnighters on the coach, and you can get soe kip if you can sleep sitting up! However, a neck pillow and some earlplugs help a lot!!
We stayed in youth hostels in both cities. Naturefreunds haus 'karl renner' in berlin was cheap for a private room and we liked it!
I can also recommend the Vondelpark Stayokay youth hostel in Amsterdam!0 -
oh - this may save you some time, we looked into the trains but they were far, far more expensive than the coaches. However, overnight the coach drivers often plough on rather than stopping for refreshments and on the one from amsterdam to prague we were dying of thirst! so do take bottled water along!0

The sites are not very easy to navigate.
How about trains, they are too expensive, flights? Which is better?
Thanks :j0 -

http://www.eurolines.eu/
coach is way cheaper than trains or flights in my experience - but have a look and see what you can find.0 -
It's quite simple when you play about with these sites a bit...
http://www.ns.nl/cs/Satellite/ns2007/en/mainmenu/include/1193053691834/travelers?p=1193053691834
http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en?newrequest=yes&protocol=http:
And check out the offers on the German rail site.0 -
in my experience it gets expensive on the trains when you cross from one country to another0
