NO ONE can come to your door without your permission.

Only a COURT APPOINTED baliff can enter your premises, but that's a long way down the road before you get to that stage, if ever.

Try not to worry, I know it's easier said than down, but DCAs are really noting to be worried about, if you can over come the threat letters, you'll be OK, most of them are just that, threats.

No matter how tempting, NEVER EVER EVER EVER speak on the phone with them.

They are from a call centre working to strict targets, there role is to get as much as they can out of you, therefore no matter what you tell them they won't listen.

If they call, just hang up each and everytime.

i dont answer the phone and they dont have my mobile number as i recently changed it and they dont have my work number either. i let the fone ring and then i do 1471 to see who it was and if its them its ignored.

touch wood mbna havent called me since april last year as they have agreed to repayments and hbos havent called me since middle of november.

  • Hi there

I have spoke with my DMC today.

They are going to contact HBOS today as the man i spoke to is at a loss as to why i am receiving these letters plus they are still charging interest when they have received a letter back from them in October stating they would freeze the interest on the account and they accepted the reduced offer.

The man i spoke with was very helpful and he has sent an email onto the credit department for them to chase HBOS up today to ask what is going on. I quoted the figures to him in the letter i received yesterday and again he said he doesnt know where they have got these figures from. as the figures in the letter do not match the minimum payment requested on the actual credit card statement

    I will keep you posted

I feel positive today they wont get me down anymore
