I have FOUND a pair of white high heeled shoes I actually like! they are on la redoute (this season's) and are leather so they will b more comfortable and I will want to keep them afterwards:) Still thinking about bare feet for the wedding itself tho. Trouble with the dress, got it from an ebay shop and i am ALWAYS a size 10 on top and it DOESNT FIT *SOBS* they woun't exchange it tho they are a big shop and have loads of stuff, and theres no way its a 10 :( at least it has a potentially good resale value as its a brand new monsoon one. So now i have shoes but no dress, luckily I know someone who has a clothes shop. Saw them last night and they will do me a discount :)
I know its a while away but I really want to get this sorted. It's not even a case of needing to lose weight I have no spare flesh around my ribcage!

Have you looked in Monsoon at the moment. 70% off lots of frocks.

Also Debenhams & BHS have lovely dresses at reasonable prices.

hmmm, what's their reason for refusing to exchange? Is it worth mentioning sales of goods act, goods have to be as described? Do you normally fit in their size 10 clothes?

Oh Sarah, what a shame:grouphug: I know I'll probably be murdered for even suggesting such a thing:o, but if it's new & the lables are still there could you get away with taking it into as branch of Monsoon & exchanging it for a different size (bigger can always be taken in!)

OK,. now I'll crawl back into my slightly dishonest hole & never come out again. I promise.:naughty::naughty::naughty:

Whispers quietly...perhaps you could say it was a gift from a friend? :shhh:

And congrats on the wedding, Sarah! Am in the middle of preparing for mine as well! :)

I am also struggling to find any nice ivory shoes.
