Saw my cousin earlier today, who is currently contracting for the currant bun.

She says that the top brass are annoyed that the offer is being "abused" by people sharing the codes (Forums, ebay etc) and not buying the paper!

Expect MAJOR changes to the offer next time round, ie having to send tokens in for internet applications, only person named on letter to use code etc...etc.

They were cross checking the free entertainments codes. The letter said it had to be in your name to use it, and it was true. I booked my sister's holiday tonight and I thought I would try my mum's free entertainments code, seeing as she wasn't able to use it, I thought maybe they had sorted it out so people were allowed to book butlins.

Anyway, the website compared the address of the person they'd sent the priority reference to and the address they'd sent the free ents code to, and said they didn't match, so I did it without using the ents code.

Not being a forum regular myself I have no idea if the person I gave it to is a regular - I gave it to narabanekeater and have tried PM'ing them to see if they have used it but have not heard anything back - I am not in anyway saying they have sold it on was just saying I would be annoyed if they did

yes, you have no way of knowing really. I'm sure the person you gave it to has used it and is hugely grateful that you saved them the £30 cost of buying one off ebay!

My mum called them about it and they said it was just random. My mum got a letter, but my dad got the priority form, so they were using 2 different lists.

I didn't get an entertainments code either, but never mind, butlins for £105 total is fab! cheaper than a travelodge for 3 nights :rotfl:
