Did anyone else have this problem, we had managed to get Butlins Skeg for the week of our sons birthday, bloody card wouldn't go thru and its Electron and I know there was ample funds.. by time i got back thru it had cancelled the booking and had to start again..gutted

Can't believe that booking reference I was bidding on went for £31 :eek:

When you've all booked it might be worth getting a tourist brochure for the area you are going to. I got a southport one last time we went away and it was really helpful. There's a blackpool one, and I think most places have them now.

search for 'visit blackpool' etc.

It's worth knowing if there are fireworks, parades etc. on during your visit. I loved the blackpool world fireworks championships, one of the shows was on while we were there on our sun holiday.

Click on that, enter your priority code, email address and your 8 words I used Call, Band, Page, Town, Main, Lock, Rope, Soft, and it should let you in, it will ask how many in your party, and then ask if you have another sun token for free entertainment passes, leave blank if you havent got this, and go to next page to check availability on your preffered dates and parks. Of course wasn't thinking it thru properly and to be honest if i did manage to get two priority booking forms, i'd prob take neice and nephew and get sis to pay for them. But tbh don't think it's ever going to happen!!!!

I am wondering now if the priority code I gave away has been sold on on Ebay - would be very upset if it was but no way of finding out

You came to see us did you?? Hope you liked us!! We try and get to take the kids to see blackpool lights every year, didnt manage to go last year, but its different for us, with it being on our doorstep, we can go on daytrips whenever we get chance to. Hope you come back to see us again in Southport next time xx
