It's a bin  Nothing will ever go wrong with my 60 litre, £2 bin because it is not full of pointless tech, so customer service is not an issue.

Anyone who pays this kind of cash for a bin is literally throwing their money away, and you people call yourselves money savers :rotfl:

I paid £12 for my 50l brabantia stainless steel bin brand new and perfect in the index closing down sale. A couple of years I broke the lid which brabantia replaced without question. They have removable washable liners which mean you can keep the bin clean easily and looks as good now as it did when I bought it years ago. I am betting you need to replace a £2 bin frequently.

Moneysaving is about buying quality at a good price, buy cheap buy twice.:rotfl:

I use Tesco's own bags for these and they are fine. You only need one or two bags a weeks to use as the bins take a lot thats with a family of 4

I soooo used to have Dualit toaster envy until I tried one! My old office had one and it was horrible!

Firstly, stupidly loud ticker sound as it counts down. It's like a three year old's game timer where you wind it up and it manually rattles down to zero (think of the Screwball Scramble clock).

Secondly, it doesn't even pop up! It's all manual.

    Totally over-rated.

My toaster was a darn sight cheaper (it's a nice looking stainless steel one still, not a plastic cheapy), makes toast quicker, doesn't make a sound during toasting, then pops up and beeps loudly at the same time so if you've left the kitchen you know your toast is ready.

As for bins, I can beat the £2 poster as mine was left in my flat by the previous owner so was £0. :D It's lasted three years and no signs of breaking so far. :p

I tried own-brand ones, but they split on me.

50L of rubbish is heavy & the real brabantia bags are very strong.

    Pretty sure mine were Sainsbury..........

Honestly nearly everyone split & had to have a second one around it & be treated gently:rolleyes:

Maybe the Tesco ones are better:D
