Brabantia 50 litre touch bin - £45 at Amazon

Amazon have a Brabantia 50 litre touch bin in brilliant steel for £44.87 (down from £143.38, although I doubt anyone's ever paid that price!), with free delivery. Other colours are in the sale too, although that's the biggest reduction.

My parents bought one last year and are really happy with it. Just picked one up for our new kitchen :j

Do you have to use the "Matching 'SmartFix' bin liners"?

I thought about refreshing my battered old Brabantia (35l), and just compared the sizes to this new 50l.

  • Got one of these last year from Amazon for £25.00 delivered.

You can but you dont have to.
  • I've been watching these bins for a few months now since I missed the last big price cut. They've been about £55 for a few months now so another reduction is great! I've just got hold of a 55 litre touch bin in the Next sale for £30 so am a happy bunny.

I tried own-brand ones last time, I think they were Sainburys, they were terrible. I went back to Brabantia.

I've had mine a few years now, I paid full whack when they came out.
    Didn't tell DH though:whistle:

We were out shopping together (must have been a blue moon:rolleyes: ) & he saw one & said "****, nearly £100 for a bin, who would pay that!!!!!!"

    :shhh: :rotfl:

Why the hell would you want to pay £45 for a bin? There is nothing wrong with the pedal bin that I have, it's manual (foot pedal) and only cost me £2.
