Hi all, hanging out in the chilly flat again. Big hugs to those of you feeling crappy whether it's illness or emotional. IA, I hope you manage to figure out what's best for you - I'm trying to extract myself from a situation with no future at the moment (bit different because I was led to believe there was a future at times), and I wouldn't say I regretted the good stuff over the last few years but I do wish I'd seen sense earlier. If you know where you stand and you think you can handle it emotionally.. but it sounds like you know you want more and if it's making you sad then that isn't a good thing.

Pepe - thinking about you with that difficult decision to have too. And Buffy - hope you can sort things out with your mum, I can see why you're upset but she probably thought she was doing the best thing.

Went for a run this morning, much needed after the last week of indulgence! Then have spent the afternoon reading and browsing on here a bit, thinking about plans for the next year and all that sort of stuff.

Well normally after we return from a few days away we return to the house smelling of cats, cat wee (one of the cats is very nervous and wees in some funny places) and if they have pooed the house smells of cat poo. We have a cat sitter of course but you know how a house can get with the windows shut etc etc. Anyway, we get back and the house smells ok. I check all the normal hot spots and everything seems in order. Anyway once the house had been cheecked clear I go back out and get the little fella in the house. Anyway, he had filled his nappy with about 5 miles to go so we waited. Anyway I start unloading the car, OH comes in as well and shouts '!!!!!! is that' pointing at a turd on the floor! I say I dont know it wasnt there when I came in. Anyway turns out the little fella had done a mammoth nappy and it had overflowed and had fell out from the leg of his trousers lol. And now the whole house smells of !!!! lol
