• Thank you!!!

Well I got some passport photos today...Urgh...I look like a demented space alien!!! I'm struggling between "You've spent £4.20...just use them and stop being so vain" and "You'll be stuck with that awful picture for 10 years!!!" Oh dear!

I may go to the local photo shop tomorrow and get them done manually - at least I can be more sure of getting a decent pic that way. I'll just save these ones to use for anything less permanent that comes up!!!

And yes, I think it is daylight robbery, it's annoying because it costs the same to get a new one, which involves loads of searches for them and an interview, how can they justify the same amount for me sending in a new picture??! Not amused.
• List of things I am going to do tomorrow (arm allowing)...

- do 20 mins yoga on the Wii
- go for an hour-long walk round the park, take camera & pedometer
- spring clean of bedroom; clothes for charity shop, stuff put away rather than in piles, dust, hoover & clean mould off wall! (and remember to air room in future!!!)
- make lasagne from Gordon Ramsey recipe for me & friend for tea...will obviously be swearing a lot in the kitchen to make sure it's authentic...F&$!ING BECHAMEL!!! Etc etc.
- Phone boiler engineer to make appointment to sort out timer on boiler as it's gone haywire (covered on my breakdown plan phew!!)
- Make my birthday haircut appointment yaaaay - it's in serious need, split end city here!!
- renew passport (still grumbling about the price  )

Now I have to come back on and give damn good excuses if I don't do it all he he :)
• Oh and BF has persuaded me to use the mutant photos for the ppt and not be silly and waste money on new ones...grr...sometimes I wish he wasn't so sensible!! :D
• Dont worry about the passport photos, im sure they look nice other wise your BF would not have said to use them.

xxxxxx

Good luck with your list.

I’m back and more determined than ever!!!!!
• Ha ha no he's just more stingy than me!!! Looked at them again this morning and I look like a potato with a wig on! Ah well.

Right, off for my walk now, then going via Aldi on the way home to get ingredients for tonight :)
• Well, I did the walk the lasagne, the phonecalls, swapped the yoga for an hour of street dance (thank god there was noone else in the house!) - room is still a state, plan to sort that out today!!!

Not got round to doing the passport yet, can't bring myself to fork out £72! Will do it though as can't book flights without it.

Just got my bank statement for RBS OD with all the payments on it - yay! Next month all going to plan it will be down to £800 which is very cool.

Went out with my friend last night to make the most of orange wednesdays - a film (in the posh cinema, the one where you don't get kids throwing popcorn at you!) and a meal (lemonade, garlic bread and salad nicoise plus a drink) for under a tenner! Very nice. :)
• Looked at them again this morning and I look like a potato with a wig on!

LOL!! :rotfl:

Heya head, how are you? What film did you go see at the cinema?
• I'm very good today thank you! Got my birthday present from my mum & dad today - went to running shop to get proper running shoes. They did a gait analysis, which involved me running on a treadmill and being filmed from behind  only from just above the knees down, thank goodness for small mercies!!!

Apparently I "overpronate" when I run (which is v common) which means I roll to the inside of my feet too much. This, I assume, explains why I get achey knees after running. My new shoes are the most comfortable shoes in the world!!! I went out for a run in them before and they really improve my gait, I could really tell the difference. And my knees aren't aching!! Hurrah.

We went to see Che part 2, really enjoyed it. I'm learning Spanish at the moment so it was good to see a film in that language as well! The meal was lovely too.

Still not made a passport with Mrs. Potato Head photos...boo me!!
• Just paid another £200 off the RBS overdraft woohoo! :j it'll soon be gone at this rate. Yay.

AND have been a DIY Queen today and rather than call someone out to sort the leak under my kitchen sink I sorted it out myself! All it needed was taking apart, redoing the sealant and then tightening back up again. Got the sealant for 99p from Home Bargains and have done a marvellous job, if I do say so myself!! :D

The true test will be when I put water down it in in 24hrs and see if I have to eat my words!!!

well done you ! you are storming through ! :)

How much would a plumber have cost? ~ £50? Why not put that towards your debt as really, you would have had to pay the plumber.... do you know what I mean? If I've got a bargain on something, I put it in my sealed pot as really I wasn't 'supposed' to have it if you get me :)

:ABeing Thrifty Gifty again this year:A
