That's not a problem at all. Just pm me with your email address and I'll send you a copy of it. I'll gladly look over yours as well.
Some cinemas have Saturday mornings showings where you pay for the child but Mummy goes free.
Some bowling alleys also are very cheap between 8am and 10am.
Maybe you can try asking your daughter to help save money. So if you go out 3 times (or weeks) and you don't spend anything the next time you go she can have a drink or sweets. Or get her to do odd jobs for your parents for a bit of pocket money then she can save it up to buy treats for herself.
It could be anything from running a duster round to folding up washing or hoovering out the car. If they gave her a £1 a week she'd be able to buy a bag of pick n mix for the next fortnight.
It's probably me getting confused about the dates. I have a terrible habit of reading but not taking everything in. Hence why I don't read books, I get so far and then can't remember what has happened previously so have to start over.
Great news that you only have £163 left on the arrears and £96 on the court. If you redo your soa showing these amounts under the debt bit along with the other payplan debts we'll see what can be done for January and February. On the outgoings bit just put in your normal payments not including any extras for the arrears. That'll give you a better look at what your outgoings would be if you were debt free.
Good news about the child benefit going up. It's only 20p a week but it all helps I got my letter yesterday. Remember to put this and tax credits in the benefits bit.
Any overtime you do put straight into your savings account it'll help get you ready for big expenses for the rest of the year. But it is there if you really have to use it for something unexpected.0 -

Hi Hypno06 - thanks very much - I don't take offence by any of what you have said, it was very much "to the point", so thank you. Yes I have tried and failed in the past, but hopefully this is new start, new leaf type thing, and I'll succeed. I have made a decision to pay everything else, because otherwise I will never get anywhere in the future, so I will definately take on board what you have said, and have a look at everything you have suggested when I get home tonight. Thanks again for your help.0

absolutely agree, your child would NOT be taken away from you if you did end up losing your home, I can't belive anyone would suggest such a thing!
I do however think that as you currently have £575 to last you until 9th Jan, you should offer at least £200 as a lump sum towards the arrears, I think this would stand you in good stead for when it went to court. I don't think the courts would look too kindly to you 'saving it' for your car insurance MOT etc in Feb when your home is at riskAug GC £63.23/£200, Total Savings £00 -
Please feel free to flame me, but my thoughts.
OP has a Court hearing where her social landlord will be seeking eviction for the non payment of rent,
If the Judge agrees, bailiffs will be instucted and OP will be evicted.
The Local Council will not be interested as OP has made herself intentionally homeless by not paying her rent.
End result could be that OP is housed in a hostel and her child taken into care.
Professional advice needed.
As a Social Worker working with children and families, take it from me - your local Children's Services Dept will NOT be interested in taking your child into care!!
I'm not an expert on housing law, but my understanding is that if the do evict you (I'm sorry I have no idea how the court will view your situation) then the local Housing Dept have a duty to assess your situation and house you temporarily for 28 days. The type of temporary housing will vary according to what they have available locally. They are almost certain to assess you as being "intentionally homeless" (a very strange term I know) and you will probably not be entitled to further social housing. Some housing depts are more helpful than others in this situation - some will actively support you in seeking privately rented accommodation, some will leave you to your own devices. It depends what the pressures are in the local area I guess.
It is definately worth getting further advice from CAB and/or Shelter as they are the experts.0 -
TotallyBroke - I will pm you my email address later once I'm home, the spreadsheet would be very useful I know. Everyone has given me lots to think about and do, so I'll look through all the things at home, the ways to make extra money sounds like a good idea, as long as its things I can fit in around kids and work. What are these click sites I hear about?
I didn't know the Child Benefit was going up, it all helps
I will redo the SOA when I get in also (I'm going to be busy tonight!), as I haven't got figures at work with me.
Does anybody really think I need representation (from CAB or Shelter) with me in court? I don't know if having anybody there who knows the law would be a good idea that's all, I don't want to find myself backed into a corner....I'd probably sit there and burst into tears, haha (kidding)

Hi Milliemonster - I can understand the idea of saving it, incase I haven't the money spare when those things are due, but I have made a lump payment of £350 towards the arrears, so all is hopefully goodmilliemonster wrote: »I do however think that as you currently have £575 to last you until 9th Jan, you should offer at least £200 as a lump sum towards the arrears, I think this would stand you in good stead for when it went to court. MissConfused has already paid more off the arrears from the £575.
But I don't see how the courts would even know she had this money.
MissConfused has made an agreement with the landlord to pay the rent and extra to put towards the arrears. MissConfused has been doing this since November.
Therefore I do not see how a Judge would then evict her if she has not broken the agreement.0
