Right we are off (once kids are dressed) to see DH and then lunch at Mum and Dad's once I have popped to pick up some milk and bread and a few other bits for the next few days. Hope it's not too busy otherwise I shall call at the coop instead.

We might be going to a friends later this evening (depends on whether A & W can go) not sure how long we would stay as I have never bothered that much about new year. Used to ring it in with the other bellringers but since DH died a. I have not wanted to join in as it means we are leaving him further and further behind and b. there has been no one to watch A & W.

Oh sweetpea... you aren't leaving him behind... he is right with you. As long as he is alive in your hearts he isn't very far away.

Big Big hugs to you all.. xxxx

And thanks for the hug MOAM it's daft really as it's just one more day. I have a thing about numbers and this coming September W will have lived as long without Daddy as he has with him which I find so sad.

Anyway enough maudlin thoughts for now, need to sort these beans so I can add to my present stash for next year!

My SIL was 15 months when their dad died, hubby was 5 and his brother 6.. it is sad but I am more than certain you have done a fabulous job at letting them both know who there daddy is and what his important values are.. and from the things you have said about the children, they couldn't be better!

    ((((hug))))

    Afternoon everyone.

Not sure if I will catch up with all the thread but Hugs to anyone who needs one and hope any poorlys feel better soon.

Saturday will be my last shift where I have been filling in. Plan was I would go back to my own place for a week then back for 3 but they dont think thats fair.

DDs bithday today so going there this afternoon with her pressies and card. She is going out with her friend tonight which is unusual for her. Im pleased she is starting to get out and about.

Have some broth mix in soaking so will do that later. Just about to run the hoover through.

Quiet evening for me with a takeaway and I hope I stay awake for 12.

Cashsaver... the next days list is posted about tea time usually each day for the next days tasks.. except I've given everyone tomorrow off because they are all drunken louts so will be tending hangovers and overhangs tomorrow! Friday will be a proper list and next weeks list will be on a new thread on Sunday evening. Usually there is a weekend list which gives pointers as to what to get done to make the week run smoothly.. uniforms ready for school/work, bags sorted etc HTH
