I tell it to anyone who mentions it.. my dad came round once and said 'it gets worse in here' (we were in a 3 bed house with 7 children and I was immensely pregnant with Tiddles) I said 'so tidy it..'... followed up with.. ' it doesn't stop you coming round interrupting me and demanding tea though does it?'

The first time My MIL came round to stay at she mentioned it was a little dusty...the next morning she woke to find the duster and polish hanging fron the door frame..with a little note saying.....use me and you eat...don't and you can shut up......

I've just copied and pasted the lists, then cut out the things I have done - and have now deleted the whole lot in favour of just listing what I've actually done!! (Didn't look enough the other way round...)

    Today I have:
Cleaned the kitchen to about Level three
    Washed the main bedroom bedlinen
Had the livingroom measured for carpet
Taken DD to the doctor's again, as she has had tummy ache for two months now...
(Mmm - looks like I've done more typed like that!:D)

    Still to come:
    DS1 to hairdresser
    DS2 downtown
Go to S'bury's to buy the beef joint for tomorrow's lunch

    Clean the cloakroom
Vacuum the livingroom and hall. I don't think the back will take doing the stairs, so may just delegate that.

Hugs to AnW's mum - and I would have loved to say exactly what pigpen said.
    Hugs to toochoosy as well.

dusty - sorry to hear that you're not feeling well again, sounds just like DD at the moment, one thing after another, and can't seem to throw it off. I hope that you feel better very soon.

Now I love washing and drying, it's the putting washing away I have problems with! Maybe I'll fit another 3 loads in today :D

Mushrooms and onions are frying gently ready for me to put the stock in.

Suppose I should feed the children as well

Right we are off (once kids are dressed) to see DH and then lunch at Mum and Dad's once I have popped to pick up some milk and bread and a few other bits for the next few days. Hope it's not too busy otherwise I shall call at the coop instead.

We might be going to a friends later this evening (depends on whether A & W can go) not sure how long we would stay as I have never bothered that much about new year. Used to ring it in with the other bellringers but since DH died a. I have not wanted to join in as it means we are leaving him further and further behind and b. there has been no one to watch A & W.
Huge hugs angel - you are not leaving him behind - he is always there beside you, watching over you, and guiding you. You do a fantastic job with A&W and you truly are a brave woman - an inspiration to us all. :A :A

I am home from work early cos when I got there the door into my office had had an glitch and wouldn't open. So with all my work safely on my desk I had to borrow another one and try and sort out the unrgent stuff (I arrange delivery of recycling bins among other things so I had 2 weeks worth of requests from city residents to pass on to the delivery guys). So having done that I escaped - I couldn't stand the coffee in the domestic refuse office, now I know why they are all such bad tempered fellows..
Sorted - one HUGE bin round to Pigpen's then...
Aen't there some useful people on Fred?
I am waiting for the butter to soften. 20 halves of nectarine to 'stuff' and bake...me and my big mouth...
