I need to get things done tomorrow - have discovered today though that I don't need to buy salad tomorrow as my fridge is so cold its iced up and the salad from last week is still fresh :D Just need to buy a couple of odds & sods and I'm done, apart from some full marks solution for DD's hair I shouldn't spend more than say £10 and that includes buying more Blue Charge ;) However my plans could be scuppered by whoever sent me an invite to play "the dot game" on Facebook :o Once I've played this decider match I'm off for my bath & read..honest :rotfl::rotfl:

I've finally caught up with the thread! :T It's taken all of Taggart!!! Just got to wait for bread rolls to be ready then off to bed. I've actually been sleeping really well these last few weeks, but I feel as though I could nap every day as well - not good! :o

I forgot to say one of my Christmas presents from DB was a book called "They Gave Their Lives" about martyrs for their faith. he gave it to me on Boxing Day, and while everyone was watching a film (after Mamma Mia) I read the whole book and left it for him to borrow. The reason he bought it was that the last chapter was all about my friend who was murdered in Pakistan last year, and it was his murder that had provoked the writer (also someone I know, although not well) to put pen to paper.

We will be home alone with DS and GF tomorrow, as DD and her friends are off to Cardiff. The friends we had hoped were coming can't make it as Mrs has to work till 11.00pm (hotel trade) but we've been invited for dinner on Friday evening, which is nice.

Anyway, I'm off to bed, so hugs to all needing one. Thoughts and prayers for many of you tonight, but remembering you all. x

Pink - it always makes a book, particularly that type of book, much more of a personal and poignant read when you know someone who's in it as it were. I have a book in my bookcase which I've had for years which is all about someone I used to know quite well and details how her husband died.

Thanks for asking PF, she is about the same today. I'm hoping that in another day or so the ABs will have started to work and she'll be a bit brighter. Sis emailed me to say that Mum does have the hump with me but she agrees there was nothing I could do.

I've not eaten enough today so have jut made myself feel ill by eating a packet of the kids minstrels.

Time to hit the sack. Let's hope I feel full of energy tomorrow cause boy do I need to do some flapping of the wings. Night all xx

Evening all! Pigpen sorry we didn't make it today but will be coming at some point when we eventually find DPs family :rotfl:

We ended up in York, Railway Museum, only went late afternoon then for some dinner in York then home. Shattered however, did a LOT of walking. Ended up buying some shoes as my HPs broke and hurt my feet :o Boys seemed to have a great time, came back with more Thomas toys for their collection aswell (out of their xmas money so doesn't bother me)

Going to have a hot chocolate and bit of a catch up, hope you are all ok x
One day I might be more organised...........
