I went missing earlier but for a very good reason... my house is now Christmas free (except for putting the boxes in the store cupboard, my new seasonal organiser which I'll fill in soon, and the gingerbread house DD & I made from a kit, and I've left the Xmas cards up so DD and I can take them down together when she gets back.). I've managed to declutter a 6ft tree, 2 cardboard storage boxes which had ripped and some odds & sods from my ebay pile which I've also sorted
I also cleaned the livingroom window, which included scraping it clean after the "merry Christmas" banner I put up stuck to it  I know its early to be taking down the Xmas decs, but I would like to spend some time with DD when she gets back on Wednesday so I took advantage of her being away to get the boring job done. :rotfl:

but i'm bored!!!
I sound so like my 9 year old when I say that!!!!
Tomorrow i'll do paperwork / computer stuff and try and behave. I was good most of today. Honest but then I got boorrrrrreeeeeeeeeeeddddddddddd!
I think i'm just going to be grumpy instead  just like my overtired children!! xx
But you have to behave...you know I'm watching you closely so I know what to expect..............my DH has been told I won't be able to do anything for 6 weeks, if he thinks you are up & about after 2 there is no hope for me having a rest:rotfl: when my turn comes, seriously take it easy, healing properly now will pay dividends in the future xx“Cancer has my body but not my spirit, and I’ll continue to make jokes, not so much about cancer, but in spite of it” Irwin Barker0 -
Hugs to you and your hubby Vanilla.
A big welcome to all the newbies.
I know i'm behaving like a spoilt brat - I think it's because the children were out all day and normally I would be playing board games with them, reading with them, getting hugs from them, watching them on the wii. I guess i've just missed them today!!! I promise to do better tomorrow as they're not going out until 6pm (they're all going to the panto) so I can bug them all day instead of bugging you lovely people. Hugs to all and tomorrow night i'll tell you about all the relaxing things that I've done xx
Edited to add - Lol at your message Lady liberty - message read and understood. I will do nothing to jepodise your 6 week rest. Thanks for making me smile!! xx0 -

I am quite excited to see if I can keep it up for a month.. is that sad???
Hello and welcome glitterball! No its not sad to give yourself a goal and its a realistic one and we will help you get there and just think what a shiny house you will have by then!!
you will see such a difference if you try to follow pigpen's lists - they are brilliant and much easier to follow than the U.S. site.
make sure you read the first post with all the info and abbreviations.
a new list is added every evening (this weeks is a bit different but we will be back to normal next week) and you do what you can no matter how small!!!
There is no such thing as failure on here - every little thing you do is success! Remember your house didnt get in a mess overnight and wont get tidy in a day - you need to take BABYSTEPS. It gets easier every week with every little step you take!
We have loads of fun but the support and encouragement is simply THE BEST!!!
ask any questions and we will try to answer you - sometime you will get a sane answer but more often than not it will be insane!!!
welcome to the totally bonkers mad house!!!!

Well had a lazy ish evening chatting to someone I ain't seen for 15 years, which was a bit mad.
DP and I have discussed, his brother has said he'll look after Luke tomorrow so if we end up in Scotland, the Lakes or pigpen land we'll be taking the kids out somewhere. So in the morning clearing toys up (so his brother doesn't fall over them) dog on a long walk to get him a little worn out, pack the car and go, somewhere....
Just off to bed now, well after catching up on some more email sorting, got the over 4000 one down to 3000One day I might be more organised...........
