Ok... I'm going in... and like supergirl I may be some time. It's actually a bit frustrating, as I know that if I do a superficial tidy then it'll never get cleaned properly, as it always gets left till last...
... so maybe I'll just stack stuff up so that I can put the airer up and get in there tomorrow (I can break up my work day with flying then) and do the final bits in the utility room (I found a load of tins in the car that I need for transporting cakes) and clear the kitchen table...
