SS...that looks like my DD1's room :rotfl: Except that you have clear bits of floor, all the bits that A has cleared still has sequins and hama beads scattered on it  I really should go in and sort it but I need something to put everything into first. It looks like she has storage but she hasn't really. Actually that reminds me very much of my study :o

Well my timer has gone off again so I need to go and sort the stuff I said I would.

Have done quite a bit this morning which is great. Washed up, wm has been on, had a good clean of the kitchen worktops, swept floor, watched last night's casualty and found a couple more recipes to try out! I also gave the bathroom a S&S last night so that'll do til bathroom day....will find my list and update for today in a sec...have also caught up on here:

    mudbath -
treat yourself, sounds like it will make your dad happy too!

jillD- lovely to see you back! your little one must be not so little now!

kazm - well done on the room! What's the tinned tomato offer? I need some today and could nip to tesco express if necessary!

lil_me - happy birthday to ds. It's mine a week today, can't believe it has come round so quick!

denisenz well done on the ironing!

lozzieozzie - welcome, don't try and do too much too soon, you'll notice the difference anyway!

jue - hope you get the work done quickly!

soappie - wondered where you were yesterday - busy by the sound of it. Last day of my break too :( I carried over 10 days leave and I am wishing I'd used some this week. Should be a quiet week though as my boss is away!

holly - good luck with the shop, be strong and stick to your guns.

    sarahs - good luck!!

re the p0rn mag, DH tells the story of his mum remaking his bed when he was a teenager and coming across a typical teenage boy's reading matter and when he went back in the room it was neatly placed by the bed :rotfl:

re credit cards, we both have M&S ones, got them when it was 0% on spends but paid them off at the end of that deal. we do, however, use them for all spending, get points and m&s vouchers back which we then spend on wine as a treat! DH sets up the payments in full as soon as the bills come in so we never get charged. we also both have an 'emergency' cc from our current account which sit in a drawer just in case we lost our purse/wallet.

ok list for today, perhaps if I write it down I'll go and do some of it, back at work tomorrow and house is not too bad but it will get bad once I'm back at work until I get my routines going

    so here we go

    shower
    get dressed!!
    reboot laundry
    load DW
hoover upstairs (OH said he'd do it yesterday but ironed instead so I can't complain really)
declutter and properly clean bathroom (eeep! could take some time)
    tidy bedroom (not too bad)
tidy spare room (also not too bad- but has large pile of ironing in it to put away)
put Christmas decs back in garage and tidy up a bit (too cold to be out there long)
declutter vaccum and wash car (yuck hate this job but know that the local car wash is frozen solid)
    check planning for tomorrow
get ready for tomorrow's back to work
re-plan menus for the week (Aldi did not have any chicken :( )
slice up banana cake and freeze

umm I am sure there is mor but that'll do for a start

wish me luck as off I go...
Go hopefully into each new day, enjoy something from every day no matter how small, you never know when it will be your last
