me have done so far:
Bedroom 1 done
bedroom 2 done
bedroom 3 done
Upstairs bathroom done
Landing done
stairs Done
Hall way done
Living room done
downstairs shower done
study area doing
kitchen doing
utility room.....well it is still only 10:30ish
Will you slow down please!! You're showing me up... it took me all NYD just to do my living room/hall/loo/bathroom... and all I've managed to do this morning is DW unload/reload, sort my laundry, put my clean laundry away, put the mattress topper in the WM and take my half dozen pairs of gardening gloves (all washed after my December gardening marathon with my mum) off the kitchen table and put them in the utility room...
... mind you, it might work... my competitive streak might kick in :rotfl:0 -

 Here just about. Feeling bunged up and manky, really need a shower but can't until Mr G gets up which will be sometime this afternoon. Just been looking at Le Creuset stuff on Amazon and wondering whether I really need some bean pots
Got up late today...10am!!! Even DD2 didn't yell until then when DD1 got up and stomped ran downstairs I'm not going to complain though as I needed my sleep.
*aside* I was just asking if anyone had seen my shoes so I can put them on before I start the housework, and then DD2 ran out to me with her shoes looking very pleased with herself*aside*
Anyway my basic list looks like this until lunchtime:
Hang up all wet washing (2 loads)
Put another load of washing on
Put dishwasher on
Empty sink
Clear dining room table and make it smaller
Empty work top next to sink
Start cooking cottage pieWell we shall see if I manage it!
Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

I'm joining you guys as my NY resolution.
I have shined my sink both 1/2 jan and sorted out a cupboard so far. I work full time so will have to take it slowly to sort out my mess of my house. My DH is sorting out his clothes this afternoon so that is a huge job done which will mean that there is room to put stuff away again!
My friend Kathryn who is on this thread convinced me that it would be a good idea - thank you!!
:xmastree: :xmastree:
Make sure you read the first post carefully as it contains all the info and abbreviations that we use!
A new list is added to the 1st post every evening by pigpen our illustrious leader and by the weekend you will have been round the whole house.
Dont get stressed with the mess just try to do the list to whatever level you can manage depending on your home circumstances - work, children OH's!!!!
Even if you only manage level 1 everyday when you come back to that room next week you will find it is easier and as time goes on it becomes more manageable and you will see huge differences - I know it sounds impossible but I can vouch for the fact it works!!!
Remember your home didnt get in a mess overnight so dont expect it to get tidy in a day!! Dont try to do the whole house at once - you will tire yourself out and sicken yourself - we have all tried it!! BABYSTEPS - little and often and you will be amazed at the improvement.
POst what you have done and forget about what you missed - there is no such thing as failure on here!!!
The support, encouragement and friendship on here is simply THE BEST! ask any questions and we will give you our tuppence worth - sometimes sensible sometimes totally insane! We dont bite - well most of us dont - watch out for the full moon:rotfl: and have fun!!
welcome to the totally bonkers mad house!!!!

Ok girls...and boys do I need one of these? I would like the dark blue graded one as it'd match what I have but that one is £50 and I know I don't need it that much :rotfl:
Or do I save for a couple of months and get the one I really want? Or will I actually use it that much? I do make a lot of soups but usually in my Creuset casserole dishes. Hmmm maybe I should sleep on it.Fluttering about an inch off the ground, I may fly properly one day and soar in the clouds!

Late as ever but
Happy New Year - wishing all flyladies/men and their families - health, happiness, love, joy and peace in 2009
Whilst I have always only been an occasional poster, I did keep up with the thread but I can't any longer. I will try to do the lists but I have to make a conscious decision not to read as I really need to concentrate on my work, house, life and OH (not necessarily in that order!). Thank you all for the entertainment, motivation and support. Hope to be back in a couple of months.
Thanks Lady Liberty, Toots, Davgirl, Kazm and Lil_me for the Christmas messages etc
All the best to you all for 2009
Hippy xDon't put it down, put it away - thanks Valli
Thank you to all who post competitions & help the smooth running of the comps board0
