    Hi

I'm joining you guys as my NY resolution.

I have shined my sink both 1/2 jan and sorted out a cupboard so far. I work full time so will have to take it slowly to sort out my mess of my house. My DH is sorting out his clothes this afternoon so that is a huge job done which will mean that there is room to put stuff away again!

My friend Kathryn who is on this thread convinced me that it would be a good idea - thank you!!

Morning *she whispers from her huddle in the couch, with a bottle of lucazade by her side* I'm cold and tired and grumpy. I feel a bad day coming on, Sky City just seems a total bombsite and I don't know where to start. Trying to head the feeling off a the pass though. Figure if I do stuff gently I'll feel like I'm getting somewhere(hopefully) but not run myself ragged which will leave me no help to anyone. *blows raspberries* Must remember to get curry out of freezer for tea tonight!

Printed off my compulsory modules for part 2 of my Dispensing Assisstant course, not as bad as I thought they were going to be I have to say, some really dodgy stuff and I'm not quite sure how I'm gonna sort out some of the practical stuff 'describe a situation where the custmer has no idea what they are looking for' who goes into a pharmacy with NO idea what they're looking for????(someones going to ome back on me on that one aren't they:o )

Grrrrr. Right I'm off to attempt something productive, or I might stay in my huddle....

ETA - Welcome Chivers!!! Congrats on convincing OH to go hrough his wardrobe, I've been trying to do that for months and months. Whats your secret???? Share!!!!

Right, I must get on with my essay today so I'm going to love you and leave you. I managed 600 words last night...rubbish. I've got to do 3,500 by midday on Wednesday. I can see some more late nights coming on.

Ignore miserable ashia up there! She has been back to bed and rested up for and hour and a half, not 100% but much better now.

Wash loads just finished so will hang that up (read a drape artistically around the house coz there's no space... ) and i want to go through the cupboards and see what, exactly I have in there. Got a feeling itll be like narnia, i'll just keep finding stuff.

Might take a trundle out and see if the farmers markets in town today.Don't know if it got screwed up by the fairground rides in it location, or if theyre still there:confused: need bacon and the stuff in MrA last night was not pleasant.

Morning everyone - and welcome Chivers

Had a bit of a fitful night. There was a fox barking on and off throughout the night - obviously looking for a partner - kept waking me up. Then, for no apparent reason, a load of books on the bookcase in the hallway to my bedroom decided to jump off the shelf with an almight clatter. I've no idea what caused that!

But, the sun is shining, the day is relatively young still so I'm off to have a bath then set about mucking out the car. I'm taking nice neighbour to Tesco this afternoon so she can spend her vouchers she got for Christmas. It also means I can make use of her disabled badge to park :D

So much for having an early night and getting up early... I couldn't get to sleep, and then didn't wake up until 8ish!

I've had breakfast and emptied the DW. It's VERY cold and frosty here, but will walk up to the post office to get some stamps later. Those of you who pm'd last night, I'll pick some more vouchers up when I'm back in the office on Tuesday, and let you know that they're on their way.

lil_me - will reply later. Glad you made it up the stairs... your posts are giving me flashbacks (which I hope you find reassuring - it's because I used to have exactly the same problems and I'm now realising how long it is since I last fell out of bed because my legs weren't working :rotfl: )

pigpen - healing feeding vibes to your baby cousin

haribo - you obviously missed my list ;)

Those of you thinking of stopping paying your TV licences... when I first moved in I used to get aggressive letters fairly often. Now I just get a form to complete every couple of years, which says they'll be round to check, but in 9 years, they've never managed to come round when I've been in  . Getting rid of your external aerial won't put them off though - I actually still have a TV aerial as mine was in the attic  and I'm not about to deal with it. I'd check the website to see what the criteria are, but I'm pretty sure you need to get rid of the receivers in the TV. You won't miss it...

Right... off to find my list. The laundry fairy is going to have her work cut out today. I think I'm going to start with my bedroom, move on to the spare room and leave the study till last (as usual :o ). The floors will all be done once I've finished tramping in and out of the house.

Oh yes, and I need to wash myself and wake up properly!
