I'm so tired... am I allowed to go to bed now
I know I wanted to start getting to bed earlier, but possibly not this early. I'm frequently not back from work at this time! I suppose if it means I'll wake up early, then it's fine, but if I don't, there is no way I'll get everything done on time.
My parents are arriving in time for lunch on Sunday, so I'm now trying to find out whether my brother & his fiancee will be coming too so I know how many people I have to feed. I thought briefly about doing a roast, and then realised that the oven is currently clean, and I plan on it staying that way... so it'll be a casserole
Yes, go to bed (if you haven't already Greenbee) you obviously need it, especially with all the physical stuff you did yesterday...
If you do a roast, try covering the potatoes and meat with tinfoil, or putting tinfoil on the bottom of the oven to catch splashes - easy to clean after then or you may never use it again!LBM April 2013 - £29,000.00Vanquis CC's PAID - Debenhams SC PAID - A+L OD PAID - Asda CC £783.75Barclaycard CC £1400.78 - BoS CC PAID - Freemans Cat PAIDF/D Loan & CC £1458.96 - Santander Loan PAID - Mum Loan PAIDRBS OD PAID - F/D OD £1026.52Weekly Grocery Challenge - £95.00 budget / spend £-0 -

((((((hugs)))))) for lil_me as well. Sorry, I somehow missed your long post. I had a similar problem in the past and it's been resolved. I occasionally get sent back to neurology when a physio/GP/consultant gets worked up about it (at which point I spend time getting stressed about having MS or motor neurone, and the neurosurgeon has to retest me and reassure me that I haven't and this is normal for me).I won't go into details here, but if you think it might be helpful, then let me know as I'm happy to share them if it would help!
In the meantime, have you tried colour visualisation? It doesn't actually workbut its a great distraction when you can't concentrate on anything for more than a nano-second :rotfl:

My brother has apparently got me some tile restorer from his friend (who supplied the tiles), so hopefully I'll be able to fix the problem.
And toots... yes, it DOES all need to be done for Sunday. Plus I need to do some cooking, pay some bills and write my thank you letters!

:rotfl: Not a good start - so they moved my "Hi I am back thread" to the OS thread (they definitely did, I saw it on there, so did Kaz didnt you, tell me I am not goind mad ?????)
Then they obviously changed their minds because obviously now its on here.
But the link from my original thread still points to the Daily thread so anyone reading my original thread and clicking it will go to the Daily thread and find zero posts by me.
Charming, welcome back or what!!!
I really really didnt want to get sucked back in to flying just yet, I dont want to set myself up to fall from the outset and because of the differing times that everyone starts back to work school etc I wont be even trying to fly til at least Jan 19th if at all! I am really just back on the money saving not necessarily flying.
Anyway enough moaning!
Thanks for the lovely welcome back!
The wee'un is now 16 months!! She is gorgeous and the cutest thing ever. BUT a total handful, my god is she hard work. She is completely aggressive and destructive, and has a rigt temper on her. Always scrabbing me and if we try and give her sokmething she doesnt want she bats it away in a right mood, and if shes in the highchair she just lobs unwanted things across the room including cups and food. If she's on the floor and doesnt get her own way she headbutts the floor and we have to get the coolpack out at least once a day for bumps to the head. She doesnt seem to want to play with anything just crawls around emptying every box she can get her hands on including boxes of dvds, shoes, hats etc , I am permanently tidying up and cant do it as fast as she can demolish everything ARGH
I'm hoping she might be a bt better when she walks , she is still crawling and is obviously down at floor level with everything. And obviously she has the older two charging around like lunatics. But for all that she is gorgeous as I say. Saying a few words, loves it when we do singing or puppets or peekaboo, very smily and giggly and sleeps pretty well.
The other two are now DS 5 1/2 and DD1 just turned 4. Its been manic over the holidays, too cold here to go out (DS not good with cold) so we have been in watching telly, DVDs and computer stuff a lot. We are getting a lot of attitude from him, he hates me at the minute, I just get "Go away", "I dont want to talk to you", "I want to talk to Daddy" etc etc all the time. But we have had some lovely time playing new boardgames they got for Christmas (OMG thoswe bl00dy traps in Mousetrap, I'd forgotten about them! And didnt it used to have a diver and not a toilet ? And dint you build it as you went along ? Im sure its all different), and playing with Lego, and doing the craft things they go. Tonight we did some of those Magic Painting books and they loved those. And no mess! Hurrah!
DD1 is great, very sweet and easily entertained, a bit stroppy but generall the easiest of the 3 so of course gets forgotten about, Middle child syndrome big time bles her.
Anyway thats our news.
I am really hopeful of more time to do stuff at home with them and generally slow down a bit.
Lovely to see the old faces still here
