Does that include a 20-25% allowance?
Mine came up as 363 watts which is very low for what I've got. If I multiply it by 1.25 though it comes out at 450W which is roughly about right.
You ideally want your psu running at roughly 60-80% load. I've currently got a 530W psu, but have removed stuff since, so it's a little overkill at the moment. Still it runs nice and cool as it doesn't need to be pushed that much.
I think a 420W - 480W psu would suite you at a guess."Boonowa tweepi, ha, ha."0 -
According to the calculator I need 360. So I'll get a 500w one. Because I'm planning to add stuff later. And I'd rather be safe than sorry.
Thanks for the replies. It's greatly appreciated.Sigless0 -
Okay, I've looked around and have no idea what PSU to choose. Can anyone recommend a decent one? Baring in mind I only have around £30 to spare, and I would like one with at least 500w.
Any suggestions?Sigless0 -
Just go for the cheapest..
e.g. ebuyer.com 12.92, 5 star reviews, if it goes pop, you have plenty of money to spare to get another one.Ever get the feeling you are wasting your time? :rolleyes:0
